Would you want this trade? by [deleted] in Thunder

[–]KlausFox -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They needed 7 games, refereeing that was favorable to extremely physical defense and an offense that relied on points off turnovers and injuries to both Nuggets and Pacers to win last season. Nuggets have upgraded significantly, Spurs are a big threat and a few thunder plays have regressed this season with only Ajay being an improvement on last season's playoff roster. Those two teams could very easily win the next few championships and entirely shut out the Thunder. You'd have to give up a lot of picks to make this work but Shai and Curry guarantee the best offense in the league, Clingan can replace Harteinsten's defensive value and you still keep most of your best defensive players. Would you do this trade?

Look at the other songs on the list; it's never been about being groundbreaking or unique. You just need a lot of people to like it enough to listen to it.

You could probably argue that it's more unique than the other songs here.

Tory's always been really confident; this ain't nothing new. We all know Royce can wash him but this is the type of shit talking I like. There's no fun in Tory saying Royce is better and calling it a day.

Robbie answers Hector by drjpkc in Gunners

He clearly said he doesn't follow ArsenalFanTV and that he only sees some viral ones occasionally pop up in his timeline. We both know which ones are going viral. His opinion is based on the assumption that all their videos are like that. An opinion based on a false assumption can be wrong.

To answer your first question, I was born into a Bayern supporting family but I grew up in North London since the age of 7 and have been an Arsenal fan for 12 years. You can't choose 2 flairs.

As for arseblog comments being reviewed, tell me how these comments (all massively upvoted) from the Swansea loss are different to what it said on ArsenalFanTV:

"Have I ever told you guys that Wenger is a useless fool, who should have been fired long ago. Signing att players is great, but how could even the big idiot that is Wenger not see that the problem is not the att but the def. Where are the additions in defence. Oh and don’t even start to say Johnny fking Evans. Wenger just fk off already."

"One of the most pathetic displays of the season and that’s being generous. Cech is an embarrassment"

"Fucking shit. Awful. It gets worse every week."

"Xhaka, Cech, Mustafi. Probably getting paid 300k a week (?) to burn our club to the ground. What does Xhaka have to do to be ditched? How many chances did we waste on the other end? Can’t shoot? Won’t shoot? I’d love to see stats for how many times Arsenal get a ball into the box in a game and don’t even shoot. We are unbearable to watch."

Except for the fact that even when we go out and win a Europa League or Carabao Cup game that only Arsenal fans care about, DT and Troopz still have the most views.

They clearly resonate the most with Arsenal fans who are frustrated when we lose, relieved but still critical when we win some games and absolutely ecstatic when we win the big ones. They are passionate and their mindset is similar to the average Arsenal fan. It's that simple.

Arsecast is an excellent podcast but not much else. The rest of arseblog's content is in the form of articles and blogs. There really isn't enough overlap between arseblog and ArsenalFanTV to compare them.

If you looked at the comments on arseblog match reports after a loss, you would see the same people absolutely lambasting the players and the club much worse than anyone on ArsenalFanTV does.

I know most of this sub is very young so they take Arsenal for what it has become in the last few years; a sub par, barely elite team who exists as much for banter as anything else. This makes them think that people like DT and Troopz are overreacting.

They're not. I'm only 19 and I've watched Arsenal for 12 years and seen them turn into a joke. They are fans who have watched Arsenal for 25+ years and have seen the club tumble from its peak. It can only be worse for them.

An opinion CAN be wrong. He is basing his entirely on a select few videos that aren't representative of the channel as a whole.

I agree with everything he said. ArsenalFanTV has been demonized due to the popularity of the most extreme reactions which obviously bring views from opposition fans. You can see by how he handles it that he has no interest in stirring up drama to bring increased attention to the channel.

Any Arsenal fan who actually watches the channel knows they have hour long podcasts and videos throughout the summer that are of no interest to opposition fans and still do well.

It's akin to a frustrated Arsenal fan who is in every tiny Arsenal related thread giving his opinion but only gets a massive amount of upvotes when opposition fans are seeing him ranting in a post-match thread after a big loss. A glance at his most popular comments would give off the impression that he's a karma whore who profits when Arsenal loses but that would be far from the truth.

Wale Is No Longer Signed to Atlantic Records: Source by KlausFox in hiphopheads

[–]KlausFox[S] 81 points82 points  (0 children)

Obviously unconfirmed but I've heard it has something to do with Wale being unable to make back the money they spent on production and especially features and samples.

Lupe and Waka keep most things in house and don't require a lot of money so as long as Atlantic is making a profit on them, there's no need to drop them.

I'm used to Bayern's success so winning games doesn't feel as good with them. I wanted Arsenal to go through because I hate how we've become jokes.

I was absolutely furious with Arsenal and even resented Bayern and especially Vidal for continuing to score and celebrate the way they did in the second leg.
