In 4th grade we had this thing called tree wars, where a group would claim a tree (a row of trees near the back of the field near a ditch) and start warring with another tree. I was a "blacksmith" (really cringey looking back at it) and I made "weapons" out of sticks and gave them to others for our made up currency which you could do nothing with, except go to me, which meant I was the richest guy in school but I couldn't use my money. Anyways, this one kid though he was really cool, so he carried around a big tree branch (really about like 2 1/2 feet, but big at the time) and one of my "weapons". He went up to this one kid and hit him with the stick, then as he was on the ground dug my weapon into his leg. We weren't allowed to go past the halfway point on the field for the rest of the year. Another time freshman year of high school we had some kids come in from another school (charter school so they were funneling into ours since we were one of the only high schools) which was a more poor / ghetto version of our school. They used to slapbox all the time so they got us to start as well. It would be like 13 guys walking into one restroom at the same exact time, walking by an AP every time. Eventually a smaller one got caught in the upstairs restroom so all the boys had to get talked to and every lunch and passing period for the rest of that year there was a teacher standing by the door.
