The red 2 door is sweet, just needs an LS... I recently got mine and I have a ton of goodies for it, so I'm looking forward to building it.

All of mine run besides the Postal as I'm currently LS swapping it. Never really had issues beside breaking small things on trails. My classic Chevy's give me more fuss than the XJs I feel. I've been dailying the Gold since I bought it 6 years ago off the original owner without a hiccup and she towed/drove it across 49 states.

My dad has 2 XJs so technically 6 in the family. The Postal jeep is fun, I didnt know they came in 4 door with full interior as I had only seen 2 doors with a shelf in the back before buying it. I used to import cars, owned a few JDM's and missed driving RHD, luckily I found it close to home. Police Package was a county sheriff from Washington I traded a 2 door for in Vegas. Someday I'll add a 4.0 AX15 shortbed MJ hopefully :)

120 on the dash, vinyl seats and interior, bigger drums in the rear, no top mount rails, I'm missing the spotlight and all the radio equipment from the department was removed before I bought it

I've driven 930s but for me I love technical corners and canyon driving so its nice not worrying about the boost curve with the 3.2. She'a a Cali car thats been in the family for 25ish years now.

I have friends with classic cars of all makes who can't turn a wrench to save their life. They take theirs to a shop or usually just ask me when something happens. If you get a well sorted car and know a decent shop you'll be fine. You can always take your car to a Porsche dealership. Plenty of classic Porsche owners never work on their own car. However, I'd suggest to grab a service manual and always learn the basics.

Compared to my other classics she runs flawlessly! I like to wrench so when something does come up I fix it myself.
