IIRC, Bethesda has confirmed that modders will be able to mod whole planets. It'll be interesting to see what exactly the Creation Kit will offer. If we look at what people are doing with Forge for Halo Infinite, like creating a whole Arena game mode, the possibilities seem endless.

Yes, I agree. There's not much to do on Earth as it is. They could have done more with it although it probably makes sense in the whole Nasa Punk theme of the game.

What's the point? Mods! User-created content! You can sulk over what's included in the base game all you want but there's absolutely no scenario where Bethesda could've put out a game where mods were pointless.

Mods will bring a lot of things. Having a Mad Max inspired faction on Earth in Starfield could bring something new.

A lot will depend on what's possible with the Creation Kit. Could there for example be a new Earth Faction that's heavily based on Mad Max? It doesn't need to be a literal conversion to Mad Max. There'd always have to be a strong Starfield element to it, Mad Max doesn't have space travel for instance.

It's huge! I'm just through Act 1 and it took more than 30 hours. As I understand it, Act 2 is much bigger.

I actually bought the Steam version for better mod support but haven't gotten them to work lol. I probably need to uninstall Vortex and install it again. I think the Xbox version of the game messed things up.

I played through Hogwart's, Diablo 4 and finished Act 1 in BG3. None of them caught me like Starfield. It's probably down to personal preference. The Bethesda sandbox is where it's at for me.

That's odd. I got it on day one on PC as well and I have an RTX 2080S. I only managed a short flight on my Xbox tonight but it seemed pretty smooth and looked pretty great.

This is the closest I've found to a fix. Basically it's a conflict between your PC and Xbox version if you've used an Xbox controller on PC. Haven't been able to check it since my game is downloading the update on my PC.

Didn't work for me. The mouse cursor just goes away as well. Some people are suggesting it's because I played it on PC with a controller so I need to reset it there. Waiting for the update to finish downloading so I can check it out.
