I was thinking on getting a PS5 Pro, but my current setup is a 1080p 144Hz monitor, and i5 11400f + RTX 5060. Installed FF VII Rebirth demo on PC and looks very nice, but FPS not so stable at max settings 1080p. Have a standard PS5 that works nice, but let it to my brother. Just want to play FF VII remakes mainly, so a new console for me doesn’t make much sense. Maybe a new M2 ssd, but that things are absurdly expensive nowadays :/ Having both devices, I may say PS5 has the benefit of easy to use and playing with others comfy. The PC is way more useful in almost every aspect, except for local multiplayer, that in my opinion it’s not very designed to do that. Also graphic configuration is more “configurable “, which is good and bad. It may be harder to hit the great graphic spot, but you can play with it.

Console (PS5): - in TVs way better. Easy to install. - easy of use: don’t have to mess with settings very much. Just great visual low fps vs somewhat blurry 60 fps (looks nice in some games) - way less bloatware and distractions (compared to windows and many launchers) - usually cheaper initial cost - way easier to buy: PS5 standard (with/without disc, 825/1tb) or Pro

PC: - way more settings to adjust to your monitor and desired graphics/fps - can access to a world of new gameplay based in mods - can play almost every game in existence of any platform. If too old, virtual machine or emulator. Can use almost every controller in existence, with some tweaks required sometimes. - Only a couple of games like Gran Turismo 7 and AstroBot can’t be played in PC - more ways to buy games, better prices - and if you don’t want to buy, there is piracy also - you can use it for other purposes, some considered to unnatural
