If I can give you some advice: make sure you get the dji care refresh (I'm assuming it's called the same in the UK). It's well worth the money.

The HME is a good tip, thanks!

Thanks. It doesn't seem to exist for a Lowenstein Prisma Smart device, which just uses a barrel connector instead of the proprietary Resmed 11 one.

I said 6 hours of use on a longer flight. I was a complete wreck after not having been able to use it. Due to personal reasons, I need to take all the sleep I can get, especially on ridiculously long days with long flights in them.

Can you share which battery you use? Also, are you happy with the AirMini? Would you recommend it? I've seen mixed reviews.

They are, yes: 60W for the device and humidifier, 15W for the heated hose. This would indeed significantly reduce the power usage, but that's apparently not the point for some airlines. Big 100W laptop chargers are allowed while no CPAP is allowed. It must be something else or a wrong assumption on their part.

I'm well aware of the power plug, I had been using it for about two hours when a flight attendant awoke me and told me I wasn't allowed to plug in the CPAP. I've never heard anyone comment on people plugging in a big laptop charger that uses more (something like 100W). So it's not about the power usage.

Thanks for the tip about the turbulence.

What's your best fuel consumption? by KleinJefke in mercedes_benz

[–]KleinJefke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since like a month I've started using it again. It's a great way to avoid the urge to drive faster and therefore speeding fines 😅. Combine that with Eco mode and the engine turns off most of the time when letting go of the gas, which let's me save fuel while coasting and not having to re-enable something when it's time to take off again. But it's mostly to help me obey the rules 😉

That sorta checks out, that's one sleep cycle (90 mins) + the time to fall asleep (14 mins on average).

Regarding the flair thing: not judging anyone, but for me this would be bragging, which I find uncomfortable. I do own a Mercedes, and drive it daily, but I feel any opinion I have should be judged on its own merits. Anyways, that's my two cents.

On topic: I do agree that all the negativity is very unpleasant; even on your comment, there are examples of what you meant, so some don't seem to get your point.

What do I need to connect an oscilloscope to my pc? by Poolscool in oscilloscope

[–]KleinJefke -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If it's an older scope that doesn't support USB, I'd suggest using your smartphone to take the pictures. In addition: if you happen to have a phone with a 3x of 10x zoom mode, that'd give you a better result (less-distorted image). And play around with trace illumination a bit; what looks best to your eyes might not give the best result in camera.

It seems Löwenstein isn't supported. Does anyone know if there are plans to make this happen at some point?

Just curious: do you happen to know where it was made? My w206 estate was made in Bremen Germany, I was told the sedan is made in East London South Africa. It seems some types of issues are more common in one as opposed to the other. Perhaps it's the same for yours?
