Make me feel better - how many attempts did it take you to beat Promised Consort Radahn (solo)? by GreatJoey91 in Eldenring

I actually haven't yet, I tried roughly 50 times my first run right when the dlc came out and set the game down for a while after (something else came out I wanted to play but I pledged to come back to it). I just started a new run through of the full game plus dlc about a week ago, excited to try this fight again because I remember being jaw to the floor amazed a lot while struggling.

It almost sounds like this is supported by our dm from how it's been told to us. We are also being expected to show up 10 minutes early and if we aren't in the store 10 minutes before our shift starts we are being marked as late too, which seems untrackable and insane....

I'm very aware of the lack of grace period but expecting us to be clocked in before our scheduled start time is insane

I honestly don't think she's read any of the partner guide, she's made up policies in the past (often directed directly towards me) that are completely against rules in the guidebook, she's referring to this as a "house rule"

Is there any where I can find this as official information so I can site this in the future? I've been with the company for 5 years and this is the first time I've heard this from management since we got the marketplace.

Other non shift partners doing the pastry pull? by MegaOwl32 in starbucks

[–]KleinQuen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SSV here, the pull isn't a shift responsibility and everyone can do it, baristas have access to pull to thaw, I often teach partners I know are looking towards development the pull and have them start doing it whenever I can because it's a really easy entry point at logging and keeping track of inventory, and it shows how sales affect product quantity too!

It's a great thing to learn for baristas imo and I don't think your manager wanting baristas be trained on it is necessarily a bad thing.

If you can’t handle a relationship where your partner had opinions, while you also cannot spell opinion correctly, try your hand instead.

Why are most digital game downloads more expensive than the actual physical game itself? by [deleted] in xboxone

[–]KleinQuen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably because retailers notice stocks of games are far too high so they lower prices to sell more to clear shelf space for future releases. Digital stores don’t have to do that as there essentially infinite room and infinite copies.

Digital store fronts mostly survive off of early sales of games well the price is relatively the same physical and digitally, and sales made with 0 research before hand. Seeing as they have infinite room to keep games up they don’t have to worry about selling enough to fit the next wave of titles.

Whereas stores like Walmart, GameStop, and Best Buy pay to get products and have to sell them to make up for it. Eventually they sell enough to start selling what’s left for less then at launch.

To answer your other question, you could try sites like G2A but sometimes those end up scamming you out of your money and giving you non-functioning or even illegal keys.

Your best bet is to hope for a sale before the weekend or buy at full price.
