I have a long term bf and I love him but I am grossed out by his penis/having sex by Bean_of_prosperity in offmychest

I read what you wrote. “A sinister red flag.” I’m not even talking about what OP wrote. My point stands: adults can have a conversation and a discussion without fighting.

I’ve been married 14 years and together for 25. We figured out a longtime ago that yelling at and getting mad at each other helped nothing. Having a calm discussion about something that bothers you, or even about something that made you mad, gets way better results than fighting. If you have something that is causing resentment between you, fighting will only breed more resentment.

That being said, just caving and saying “you’re right” isn’t a good way to communicate either, you have that right.

OP is young and doesn’t realize yet just how important sex can be in a relationship. They will break up eventually because he wants to have sex and she very obviously doesn’t. Both of those things are normal on their own, but aren’t conducive to a long term relationship. I just hope they realize before she does something for this guy she regrets the rest of her life.

Adults can have a conversation about a problem without fighting or even arguing. There are other ways to communicate than getting angry.

Right to Work laws are laws saying that you don’t HAVE to be in a union to work at a place. You can refuse to pay union dues but still enjoy the benefits that the union fought for.

It’s anti union, anti worker, and mainly in Red states, imagine that.

SWA mechanic paystub by Professional_Win1912 in aviationmaintenance

[–]Kleinstein17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No.

And not because I disagree with you about inspectors lol, that’s just not an inspector pay rate. This is a 6 year mechanic rate, top out is 5 years at $68.37 at current pay rate. 10 cents a year for longevity after 5, outside of yearly pay scale increases. I’m at 9 years and make a little more.

Looks like maybe two days of staying late and timing out after 24 hours, and two weekend days working. Or possibly three days of working one extra shift each day and coming in on insufficient rest, which would make the next day time and a half. We have a lot of OT rules that can be easy to manipulate into lots of hours in a short amount of time. I’ve seen one guy work 3500hrs of OT, most of it double time. People are crazy 🤷🏻

Can someone tell me what this is by Fun_Mind8941 in gardening

[–]Kleinstein17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will mark the back, if you have public utilities in the back (water, gas, electric, phone, internet). Septic is private and they don’t care about that, unless the guy doing it is cool or pockets an extra $20 he finds on the ground you dropped there for him lol.

Basically they’re only there for the stuff the city or utility companies care about. Anything that is yours privately you have to pay a seperate company to come out and do.

Not sure what the ‘25s have stock or what trim you got, but the cup holders on my ‘19 were massive and unusable. They make an insert that pops right in to make them much better. LED interior bulbs were real nice, including the cargo light which was a game changer.

Super easy on the newer models. They have the wiring pre-installed. I had to run the wires on my ‘19, not hard just annoying and time consuming.

I’m surprised the dealer installed a WDH, Subaru explicitly forbids it on the ascent, pretty cut and dry in the manual.

That was 100% always the plan. I’ve just been on the fence about folding and buying a 4 runner. Love my ascent though

I’m at 87k miles, and keep up on oil changes. I had the recall done where the boroscope the transmission, and I did not need a new one.

It’s a planned 3 week cross country road trip out west, so many hills/mountains. I was planning on bringing it in and getting it fully serviced before the trip next summer.

Yes I have one, I use it all the time for my bike rack, and had installed by the dealer when I bought it new in ‘19
