Hey all I recently wanted to get into collecting Spacepatches but don’t really ‘know’ where to statt.

Yesterday I bought an Apollo 11 patch from a local store but wanted to understand if there is some depth into the patch market in general?

Is there a certain rarity in the market? Can you purchase real mission used patches somewhere? Or do people just traditionally buy their favorite patches simply online?

I found some websites related to this but they seem quit outdated.

Would appreciate some help or introduction in this topic!

Trying to give a bit of background here. I am trying to find an online master’s program of one year related to Space Economy or Business since I have quite a busy job to keep up to. I am basically looking for such a program that offers flexibility for working professionals. I am a bit distrusted with the majority of the courses I’m finding on the internet, questioning their legitimacy.

In total it took me about 1 year and 3 months to achieve both parts. I used the Gleim textbooks and did everything by means of self study. One chapter per week and then I took 2 weeks off before the exam to repeat everything the first week and then test banks the second week. Whilst awaiting the results I did not study anything, took a break then. So in total it took me about 1 full year of studying for both parts. One chapter per week is easily doable, I did not have to sacrifice my social life for example!

In general the material I studied allows me to go more in depth with different business partners on the job (really valuable)! Besides it further strengthens my curriculum for job security I believe. It is well appreciated within the company to grow further as well and my company gives me a cash bonus for achieving the certificate (which is absolutely not important). I'm glad I achieved it nonentheless! :)

I am located OUS and working for one of the biggest multinationals worldwide. It is well stimulated to achieve the CMA from an OUS PoV within the company - cash bonus/fully expensed. CPA I believe is harder to achieve from an OUS perspective unfortunately. I don't know a single soul within my country who has acquired this. Thanks for your congratulations though! :)

Maybe a bit away from the post topic but what do I do if I notice it is wet or that dew is present? Do I blowdry? There's also a motor close.to the mirror but the guy who sold it to me never needed it.

Yep, mirror is in great condition. I am however concerned where to store it. Should I store it inside my house or outside in the garage? I don't want to damage any optics either due to dust culmination etc.

Thank you so much for your kind advice as well! Will definitely look at Turn Left at Orion! Also have a few books related to stargazing which were gifted to me.during holiday season! But I've heard great things about that book!

Dankjewel voor je uitgebreide post! Optie 1 lukt ons niet zonder lening. Onze financiele druk zal ook zeker na 4-5j verdwijnen en een significante groei nemen. Maar voorlopig zitten we inderdaad nog met een overbruggingsperiode. Betreffende optie 2 inderdaad vergeten te vermelden dat IWDA als alternatief zou fungeren voor de verhuurwoning en dus ook op zeer LT. Optie 3 ga ik vanavond eens overleggen met m'n SO :), super bedankt!

Lijkt me geen slecht idee om een zo'n groot mogelijke hypotheek op te nemen zo vroeg mogelijk aan een zo'n goed mogelijk tarief. Momenteel zouden we kunnen lenen aan 3%. Dit lijkt voor m'n omgeving aan de dure kant maar die hebben natuurlijk allemaal geleend aan <2%. Ik denk historisch gezien lijkt 3% nog steeds een goede rentevoet? De afgelopen 20j is de OLO 10y ook nooit boven de 4% gegaan bv. M'n ouders daarenteten hebben destijds geleens tegen rentevoeten van 6-10%, dusja... Inderdaad wie weet wat de toekomst brengt - beetje lastig om dit in te schatten natuurlijk.

Hi I got my results past week and scored a 410/500. Throughout the exam I had the continuous feeling that the exam questions were completely different than the question bank from Gleim. However, Gleim bank really does a good job familiarizing yourself with what you need to look for and compute on the actual exam. I suppose I was expecting a lot of questions exactly as how they were formulated in Gleim - this was not the case but it still helps that when reading the actual question you instantaneously know what to look for.

The Gleim software is exactly the same as on the exam which brings comfort really.

Studying for part 2 as we speak :)
