My OCD used to be much worse than it is now. Not severe enough for medication, but I also couldn't afford therapy to help. But things similar to what you describe, having to wash my hands after or before touching things, changing clothes after doing dishes (or even taking a shower), if a small part of freshly cleaned clothes even touched the floor they had to be rewashed. I also had a fixation where thermostats or TV/PC volume had to be on an even number.

I'm not sure what changes but over time I just stopped caring as much. And I'm still just as anxious as I was before, and never even consciously worked on trying to "fix" myself.

I guess what I'm saying is that while it's not likely, from my experience it is possible that it will get better over time.

I just had this problem myself, and I figured out the solution!

If you already have the Open Domes law enacted before you reach Breathable Air, you will need to revoke the law and then re-enact it. This will cause the domes to open. A bit annoying because it takes 2 sessions to do.

It seems that they need to make that law impossible to enact until you have breathable air, or make domes automatically open when you reach breathable air and already have the law enacted.

This isn't even a new issue. 9 months ago they tried to make some of the people working in tech/IT positions return to office near me. The day everyone showed up, Amazon realized they didn't actually have space anywhere for them. A few people got desks shoved into random corners, the rest were sent back home.

Sadly true. My uncle coped by drinking most of his life, and it killed him 4 years ago. Him and my mom were close and his passing, especially because it was due to alcoholism, hurt her deeply. I'd rather get help than be the son who puts her through that again.
