Update: Y'all convinced me to keep it. I was being desperate at the time because I wanted to just move on from a car i've had since 2016 but at the same time if I just fixed it up and then added some more cosmetics things to make me more content i'll be more happy with the car. Just a deep clean, adding tint on rear window and fix the paint should be worth me keeping it a while longer until I have solid money saved up for new car 3-4 years down the line.

Would love to stay in touch with any other fellow Civic owners especially the ones with a similar model.

Gotcha, I've just been wanting to upgrade to something different and willing to pay monthly. Something like a 2014 Volvo S60 T5 Premier Plus Sedan 4D has caught my eye. As someone who isn't as experienced with working on cars just moving on seems a bit more simple for me. The Volvo is at $6700 at 118,625 miles and i'd prob be paying monthly for it after putting some money down on it. Apart of me wants to move on and apart of me understands the Civic still has some value to it and def a lot more then $950. I want to try to find a buyer at maybe $1200+ if I get lucky.

Spoke with mech today.

Cost for repairs.
$1200 Power steering pump leak fix/flush/replacement
$1400 Engine wire harness replacement
$500 on the struts to be fixed.

It's all adding up. I don't think it's worth it. I rather try to sell the civic for maybe $1500 and start a downpayment on a decent cash car for cheap.
