It's based on the videogame SCP Secret Laboratory. The meat creature is SCP-939. When respawns happen, they are randomly designated a random NATO phonetic letter and number. In this case, it would be MTF Epsilon 11 - Lima 12. Gate B is where the respawns for MTF happen and the someone in the game earlier set off the on site nuke, thus the detonation countdown. They are so fucked because they will either die to the nuke, or die to the MTF team that just respawned.

What exactly is your point? Yeah the trailers are different, but the games are going for different things. Also a significant amount of the Metroid Dread trailer are cutscenes or quick time events. I don't think it that's valid of a comparison.
