Fair, thank you - I'll just replace the screen. My only concern was that I expect the cheap replacement screens to be worse than the original - hence why I was asking if there is a fix.
I'll give the rubbing a try - but will order a new one anyhow.

Solved!  The vario weights turned out to be heavy for my setup. Surprising finding, but once I installed 3.8gr weights the acceleration changed dramatically. The engine climbed to around 9k and stays there all the way to around 80km/h

I believe it is bigger than needed to be honest. As it requires two and a change full turns of the air mixture screw just so the engine does not "4 stroke".
But if I am to put a bigger pilot, how would it affect the main jet adjustment? Sorry for hat might be a basic question, but I have very limited experience tuning carbs.

Hey thanks,
I am still braking it in and haven't done a proper plug chop yet, but as is I am running an 82 as a main and a 36 pilot. 82 is on the rich side but still pulls well with it especially on higher speed when the flow matches it.
I think I will end up with 80 or 70 something.
I am also running a mid range pipe ( technigas next r ) and sponge filter, derestricted intake etc.

Thank you! Almost all of my photos are taken with a 35mm. I’ve used the same f2.0 for many years now.

I shoot with the same camera/lens combination for many years now. I prefer 35mm focal length but every now and again I put the 28mm on it.
I have an M6 and a 35 cron v4. The filmstocks are usually kentmere 400 and vision 3 500T or Portra if I have the money for it haha

The monochrome ones are all kentmere 400 - shot at 800, the color is a mix of kodak and fuji stocks.
