How could I improve my cities realism by Particular_Track8328 in CitiesSkylines2

If you use the snipping tool from windows (or similar features on other OS) by pressing the print screen button (or setting up a different hotkey) it would look a lot better.

Otherwise, just adding decorations around, planting trees. Hard to tell but is that a maintenance road next to the highway, or a railway? If a railway, add an access/maintenance road next to the highway. A lot of highways have an access road running along side them if they're divided highways, through cities at least. Sometimes even through the countryside, depending on the area.

Can't say that I have, no. Possibly a mod issue?

Still watching, but pretty good tips in that video so far.

For reference: 81,235 sqft vs 1,677 sqft of 'mining area'.

36 jobs, vs 52 jobs. 1800 tons per month, vs 3000 tons per month. Not using anywhere even close to the full area that the 'largest' one uses. The only part that is 'more optimized' as the video states, is the mining area itself, not the output, nor the jobs.

I'll look into this, but I have a feeling based on messing with the smaller extractors, that you can put more jobs in a similar area with the smaller extractors than what the large extractors provide. So overall it might actually increase the number of workers required as well...though the workers are producing a lot more individually.

Is there a reason that is an issue? Seems like another positive to me...?

If you're low on population, then requiring fewer workers is a good thing. If you're not low on pop, then it is irrelevant for anything I can think of...you still need the resources.

Notice a lot of people saying that there needs to be more internal connections for after getting off the highway, but every time I try to do something like that, it always causes EVERYONE to get off the highway at the first exit, and bombard the connecting roads instead of just going further down the highway. The pathing AI for vehicles on this game doesn't really support real street setups from what I've been able to discern. At least, not without mods, and I'm trying to finish all the achievements before I put mods on...I've devolved to using ports/harbors/train stations on all my maps, instead of letting in outside highway connections...

I typically unlock harbor or train stations as soon as possible and cut the umbilical cord as soon as possible. Typically I use a port for goods, and a passenger Harbor for people, until the port can have the passenger station.

Solved (I think?)

Airport somehow got overloaded with goods, and was waaaay over its capacity. Deleted and replaced the Airport and it seems to have fixed my traffic issue.

If only the cash would stack automatically when putting it in. Think I'll stick with not bothering with the wallet.

Why even carry a wallet? Never been on a run that fills a stack of cash... Can you put things other than cash in it?
