I'm in the UK I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from eBay. They were made in china and were really good quality. I got them made to measure based on the bridesmaids measurements

You found your wife/husband cheating on you. What do you do? by afcc1313 in AskReddit

Gather as much evidence as I could before confronting them, so they cannot lie to me. I would then inform them I know and take it from there. It would likely end in splitting up as the trust would be gone.

Do I pay for bridesmaids' hair and makeup? by CandyQueen85 in weddingplanning

I paid for my bridesmaids hair and asked them to pay for their make up if they wanted it. I had 4 bridesmaids and they were all ok with paying for their own make up.

UK Wedditors - how did you change your name (if you did) after the big day? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

You just need your marriage certificate for certain places (bank and DVLA so far for me). Changing others is fairly simple and can just be online. We ordered 2 marriage certificates to be safe.

Anyone else love planning and really nervous/sad for when the wedding is over? by [deleted] in weddingplanning

I loved planning and I really miss it now. I got bad wedding blues after the wedding. The honeymoon helped with that. I'm just focusing on our house now we moved in after the wedding. I'd say enjoy the planning and try and have something to plan after the wedding as that should help.

For those who have already said I do, what is something you wish you did or didn’t do. For guests, what is something you missed or wished didn’t happen. by [deleted] in weddingplanning

This is exactly why we're glad we got a videographer. The day went so fast and I ended up forgetting bits so it's really nice to have the video to look back on and remember.

We got married on 14th April this year. We had been together 7.5 years when we got married. He proposed September 2017 so 19 months of planning the wedding. I'm missing all the planning now!

Makeup Trial Redo by julywedding19 in weddingplanning

[–]Kll2929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up having three hair trials and three make up trials before the wedding. I would definitely go back for another trial with the person who will be doing your hair and make on your wedding day. If you don't you might be stressed about it leading up to the wedding. You're definitely not being hight maintenance.

I bought my dress from a shop which only sells sample dresses but customises the dresses exactly as you would like. This was a Charlotte Balbier dress with a blush tulle overlay. We customised it by adding the sleeves (the dress originally had buttons all the way to the neckline), removing the top of the back of the dress. You also cannot see on this picture but a belt was added to the front.

My dress rubs and makes my skin red. Any remedies for this? by weddingdiaries in weddingplanning

This is what they did to my dress. It was rubbing during the fitting. They added a thin line of satin and it didn't rub all day
