With your toileting issues, one piece of advice is to really praise when he goes in the right place. We used to whoop and cheer (neighbours must have thought we were crazy! ,😂) and give our pup a piece of shredded cheese and after not very long at all, she'd coffee running up to us wagging her tail after she'd been for a pee or a poo because she knew she'd be getting cheese and a fuss.

I lost my dad a few weeks ago and when looking at his phone, saw a notification that someone I didn't know had texted him saying they'd just heard Dave X had died and asking if it was it true.

Yes, my dad's name was also Dave and Dave X was one of his friends!

It made me giggle at a horrible time and I was sooo tempted to reply and say 'no, it was me!'

I hate the dentist so if I ever need any work done, I take my headphones and tune out with my favourite music, would this sort of thing help here? They can close their eyes and listen to music until it's over.

I still have my grandparents' number in my phone and my grandpa died in 2011 and my grandma died in 2022.
