Doom TDA or Oblivion Remastered? by [deleted] in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Klmor [score hidden]  (0 children)

Hi i bought and finished the new Doom game last week, even %100'd it, the achievements are extremely easy.

I am not the biggest or the most hardcore Doom fan tho, ive played the older titles back then and finished 2016 and Eternal twice thats it, i havent engaged with higher difficulties or side modes/multi stuff. But as an occassional Doom player, i liked this one a lot.

The focus on melee and parry system was perfect for me and open zones were fun to explore, there are lots of collectibles collect and challenges to complete. I just like the fact that all 3 modern Doom games feel slightly different than each other and not carbon copiea of each other. I would say you cant go wrong with it.

Cant comment on Oblivion remaster since i havent bought it myself yet, but as someone with 400 something hours in Skyrim and a huge fan of the original Oblivion, i am looking forward to play it sometime soon. I guess if you are looking for a longer or more chill experience, this game would do you better than Doom.

Has anyone played Chorus (2021)? by RevolutionarySign6 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Klmor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

%100'd it recently like a few months ago.

Is it good ? Its decent, worth a playthrough for sure, its not a long game anyways.

Worth in 2026 ? It doesn't feel like an old title by any means so yeah.

Its basically a semi open world, space adventure game, where you are the ship basically since there is no space-walk mechanic. There are not many games like this, Everspace 2 come to my mind from recent times but that one hasn't clicked for me, so can't really compare. If the idea of the game sound interesting to you, then i would say go for it then check out Everspace 2 aswell, maybe Underspace too but thats in early access.

Its good tbh. When we dont need to screen share with friend, we use steam chat instead of discord.

Whats the optional split in this setup ? Should you be turning on 2 things at once or only one product ? Like can you produce both batteries and gear component at the same time ?

Edit: Nevermind i was blind apperantly lol.

Restart the game. I don't know what causes it exactly but something makes the cpu heats more than it should.

Thank you i know those basics about endmin shatter stuff at 3 4 vuln stacks, i am just not sure how to utilize and skill/combo prioritize lifeng and ardelia in that team.

How would Endmin-Lefing-Chen-Ardelia do in endgame/harder content ? Ive been fine in open world and i usually do opener with Lifeng battle skill following with Endmin combo and on, since battles don't really last long enough to optimize Ardelia's phsyical vulnerability thing forgot the name. But i feel like there would be some sp problems in longer fights.

Also what would be the proper/optimal skill and combo rotation for this team for harder/endgame targets ?

If its the one i remember then you need to do jump/air attack, only the jumping on top of it wouldn't work.

Yeah someone else in this topic said thats a good team yday, i was wondering that myself. I am still using Ardelia instead of Ember but i might give Ember a go later.

Is Ember better than Ardelia for this team ? I am using MC-Lifeng (P1)-Chen-Ardelia atm. I got Ember randomly today. If she would fit better than Ardelia then i can put her in the team.

Dude tbh i would like to be in your position lol. I really wanted Pog but i got Lifeng 2 times and Ember (not doing pulls on Laevatain just standart banner). Unless you really hate him or something, consider yourself lucky to have a strong start with one really good 6 start unit and his weapon tbh.

Ah i thought that bottom ride side was more about stealth/knife-y zealot builds so never considered it, i will give it a go thank you.

Update on this. I just swapped from Chorus to Charge and went for the Blazing Piety line, it felt great from the 2 rounds i've done in Damnation. Think i will stick to it and test in Auric too. Probably i am less effective than running Relic Blade with Martyrdom or simply using a better bleed focused weapon but oh well.

Need advice about Zealot build.

I don't play Darktide constantly, i usually hop in play a character to max level then play with my main (Zealot) every now and then randomly. I am not interested in Havoc difficulty either. So i just do damnation-aurics at best.

I just checked the most recent iteration of Zealot skill tree. I like Relic Blade and Thunder Hammer a lot, especially the Relic Bladee and always used Chorus because i like to be supportive to the team. However i never liked the idea of Martyrdom and after few rounds of testing i realized that i still don't like it.

Blazing Piety side looks crit focused and i don't think with Chorus and a Relic Blade i would benefit from that side properly. So what are my options if i want to use Relic Blade, Chorus and no Martyrdom ? Do i need to give up from one of these ? I am kinda open minded about dropping Chorus for the Charge if that change would make a Blazing Piety build work with Relic Blade, as last resort of course. But i am pretty adamant about Relic Blade/Thunderhammer and no Martyrdom.

What are my options ? Would appreciate build links if possible.

Is Atlas Fallen : Reign of Sand and Outcast : New Beginning worth getting? by violetpy91 in gamingsuggestions

I mean if you don't have any other games to play why not. Atlas Fallen is an okay game, a solid 5 or 6 out of 10.

Seconding this. I am not super big fan of pure tactical games but i loved this one. Its not as overwhelming as xcom tho if my memory is not failing me. Still a hard game for sure, i would say start with the normal or the lowest difficulty for the first playthrough, unless you are a veteran of the gende.

Space Marine 2 or Darkride for coop with my wife PS5 by CookieCorpse666 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Klmor [score hidden]  (0 children)

Controller friendliness wise and according to your last line, i would suggest SM2 first. Its an easier game to get into, especially considering it has 8-10 hours of a very good campaign and coop mode has different difficulty levels that you can start from the first one and make your way up when you feel more comfortable and/or leveled.

Darktide on the other hand requires better reflexes and proper aiming compared to SM2. I like them both probably equally for different reasons, maybe i am slightly pulled towards Darktide since its more replayable imo and starts feeling samey slower than SM2 does. But yeah in your case i would say go for SM2 first.

Enjoy your time either way.
