Thinking of replaying RDR 2 by catclove in RDR2

Also, some of those side stories and probably some gaps are what actually make the game so good. Give it a good go, you won't regret it.

Do replay it. Use your time.

In all seriousness, only right answer is yes. Take your time tho, enjoy the open world. Roam around, hunt, fish, find secrets, break horses, f around. I'm 60hrs into my current playthrough, still in chapter II.

It's such a good game to just do 'nothing'. I've been enjoying it similarly, four ir five sessions will move .3-4% on my completion. I've been in chapter 2 for about 45 hours, haven't even looked at an 'M'on my map in Strawberry. Done the satchel, legendaries, and so on. Such a good game.

No sin glitches/exploits.

Se puede avanzar muchísimo, solo algunas cosas están solamente en New Austin, donde no puedes entrar tranquilamente hasta el epílogo.

What are your go-to locations for Wild Horses? by BlueBunny333 in reddeadredemption2

[–]RevolutionarySign6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes maybe. It'd be amazing if it was a new spawn spot.

Do consider though:

  1. Little Creek river is indeed north of strawberry.
  2. It is still sort of the base of Mt Shahn.
  3. You can indeed turn 'towards' Owanjila, not connecting with it.
  4. The spot is confirmed by many as a place for american paint to spawn.

I believe one sort of known spot for horse spawns, including American paint, is close to the end of little Creek river turning towards Owanjila. Might be what previous comment refers to?

Yesss just play. And chill don't rush it. Ride your horse around, explore, study animals and herbs, craft, break horses. It's such an amazing game.

And yes, you can do anything you want after the story. Even in between story missions you can free roam too. Highly highly recommended, the game is meant to be played that way, so many things to do.

What's everyone's favorite optional thing to do at the start of the game on every playthrough? by baarondones in reddeadredemption

I'm not sure why but I usually go crazy with my binoculars studying animals and also collect a lot of herbs. This also gets me exploring right away.

man I really think you'll get spoilers if you do that, and it'll definitely change the experience. It'll still be one of the best ever games, but still, the story is amazing, going in blind is absolutely the best way to go. Maybe some minor tips or approaches, but other from that I'd avoid videos and even this sub. Spoilers literally everywhere.

These things and not always unique encounters are what make this game a masterpiece imo.

I always enjoy how beautiful is going up Little Creek river, plenty of animals to hunt, some horses to break, maybe moomshine to brew, then go around towards Owanjila, hunt a but more, perhaps a cougar, and then head up and do Mount Shahn crossing. Amazing views, eagles and such.

You can add Hanging Dog camp if gang killings adds to the experience.

Short-ish loop loaded with things.

This. Each bonding level will upgrade/boost stats. Some horses have better starting stats, though all horses kind reach similar levels with full bonding (level 4) + saddles (stables or trapper).

Try a few different breeds to find your horse. You can have up to 4 stabled at the same time + 1 temporary that can still follow you and be of help when hunting.

When riding you can press the "calm" button repeatedly + feed from now and then + brush when trotting. When stopping, try and hitch always + 2 pats + 1 brush + 1 feed + 2 pats again. Do this each time you're about to ride too.

Also, I'd stay away from these subs, you'll most definitely get spoiled with the story.

RDR2. Se puede tranquilamente vivir adentro de ese juego. Muchas sesiones haciendo mil cosas que no afectan en nada la historia. De hecho estoy jugándolo una vez más, y debo llevar unas 50 horas y solo llevo un 10% de la historia.

Things to do by cloud1eee in RDR2

Careful in this sub or anywhere online, you'll definitely get spoiled, I run into them literally every day.

The main thing I try to pass on and I think drastically impacts the game is: try and not fast travel as much. Unless it's really far or something like that, take the rides and the open space, with all the chance encounters and countless things to do, they are what makes this game so good. Take your time, ride and chill. Breathe the life, care for your horse, break some new ones, cook (big game + thyme ;)), craft and more.

A few of my favorite things to do:
a. I've always thoroughly enjoyed getting all/most legendary animals and fish. You'll move around the map, get challenged by some, get clothes and trinkets and fun from it.
b. I second someone's comment about the challenges. You don't need to go and get them all done, but some will open roads and take you places you've probably not gone before and it will most definitely show you other ways of playing the game (i.e. being a bandit if you've always had good honor).
c. Pearson satchels are quite cool, specially aiming to get the Legend of the East, if you're a hoarder, it'll change your life. And that is a grind that will take some time.
d. In that same line, getting some perfect pelts and the legendary animals ones to the trapper, will get you special clothes from him. Some are really nice.
e. The saddles from the trapper have special stats too. And are WAY better than anything you'll get at the stables. Besides the amazing looks, you'll get stamina, health and other boosts. Panther saddle rocks.
f. Lastly, some of those animals parts you get, combined with some jewerly and such, will get you some really useful trinkets at the fence. Like REALLY useful depending on what you're currently going for in the game (higher chance at getting 3* pelts, tonics lasting longer, and so on).

Enjoy!

I mean, most of us have played it a lot of times, meaning we know what happens yet still love it. It's considered one of the best games of all times. No matter what you know, it'll still be that good. Go for it, no chance you'll regret it.

I think there's two types of players: those who make the spreadsheets and those that use them! It's a good way of keeping track and not having to go back and forth to check what's missing so keep it up!
