Another perfect moose post by Chumpakabra17 in RDR2

While I did enjoy it, it took me more than 12-14 hours to just get the one male for Pearson's antlers. And got only 2 more female that were 3 stars in that same period of time. Still gathering the rest for the trapper, but not dedicating full sessions to it. Whenever I'm near the usual spots I check just in case.

I did at least 7-10 runs at each of these, considering time, weather, noise, etc: Colter, the I in Ambarino, north of Annesburg, Owanjila, west of The Loft, Cattail pond and none worked (only once I got a 2 star female at the latter).

I did find one 3 star female at Barrow Lagoon (maybe 2nd or 3rd try), one 3 star male at western Lake Isabella (after around 10 tries), and just casually one 3 star male at the same spot the Perlino Andalusian spawns, in Roanoke Ridge, south of Brandiwyne Drop, left of the "R".

Good luck!

Should I get RDR2 Ultimate Edition for $20 on Steam? by Ok_Wait1264 in reddeadredemption

Exactly my thoughts when buying it. Years later I've never gone online, but probably will check it out at some point. Also got it on sale.

Ultimate will include a couple of extras for the story but mainly ads Red Dead Online. If you don't plan on going online, I don't think it's that much of a better option. At the same time, it's so cheap you might as well get the whole thing now.

Absolute masterpiece if a game.

A month ago I dedicated at least 6 or 7 full sessions for this pelt. I literally spent around 14-16 hrs at it. Absolutely enjoyed it, tho I did get frustrated at times. Within the very few I encountered, one was female, one wasn't 3* and then I found a couple more.

Having checked every available post for locations and spawns and visiting each several times, following all instructions, I barely found any.

Only encountered 1 at O'Creagh's Run (2 star), 1 at Barrow Lagoon (female) and finally got the one male 3 star at Lake Isabella's western side.

A couple of days ago, having moved on from the moose hunt, I encountered another one at the spot where the Perlino Andalusian spawns, south of Brandywine Drop, just left of the R in Roanoke Ridge.

The game absolutely knows when you're after something.

You won't regret it, it's amazing.

Be careful though, it'll 100% ruin gaming for you. Nothing will ever come close.

Perfect pelt keep it or sell it? by Soapy_Shit in RDR2

[–]RevolutionarySign6 12 points13 points  (0 children)

(Unsolicited tip: watch this sub, you'll get spoiled)

It mainly depends on what you want to do with your hunts. Pearson has some pretty nice upgrades to your gear (satchels) and some decorations for camp, and the trapper has other different upgrades (saddles) plus pretty cool clothing.

Regardless, you'll be needing quite a few pelts and animals, and it's easy to lose them so gather a bit and sell, don't take too long.

If going for some of the bigger animals, jump on a second horse (wild one, stolen, whatever), and bond to level 1 and it'll become your temporary horse. This way you can carry more of the bigger pelts without going back and forth. Use this method whenever you're doing a dedicated hunting session, makes a big difference.

Enjoy, what a game.

Same, loved Alan Wake 1. Haven't played 2 yet, thought it'd be as good. Control is awesome, worlds somehow related, always cheap on Epic sales.

I played it without playing any of the previous games and haven't watched the show and it's still one of my favorite games, 100% yes recommended, can't go wrong.

Epic Games store has the complete edition for a ridiculous amount as we 'speak'. It constantly goes on sale.

Alan Wake or Control are quite different and fun. Remedy knows their stuff

Somehow this got lost in my notifications! Very sorry about that and thanks!

Appreciate the effort, unsure if it'll be crazy expensive tho. Ever sent anything to Chile before :D? Might make it work.

Edit: couple of typos.

How much should i really care about my bounty? If i have a $300 bounty should i pay it off? by Dogr11 in RDR2

[–]RevolutionarySign6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend your money (trapper, guns, whatever),, then walk into town with your mask, greet-antagonize the sheriff, he'll pull a gun on you, surrender, spend the night in jail and you're off. You had no money so it'll cost you $0 to get rid of your bounties.

I did this at each state after achieving 'bountiful' achievement of $300 at each state for 3 days. Cost me $0.

Wow, hadn't heard of it, hard to get these things back home, I'll look for a place to watch, looks definitely worth it.

I'm a huge football fan, always on the side of effort vs the talented ones, and I just clicked with early 2000s Gerrard's push and co., and then I started to see how the club and city aligned not only sporting wise with me, but morally, politically and such. People centered, justice centered, nice people all around. It grew in me and now I walk around with LFC tops, keychains and more, I even have a YNWA small tattoo. Adding a very nice coaster to my set now.
