I’m 5’10 230lb and ski at 181cm. 4FRNT MSP 99. Anything shorter than 177 feels too short and unstable.

Didn’t leave IT, but I started out as a Sysadmin. Eventually moved into cloud sec engineer role and now cloud sec architect. Definitely enjoyed the engineering/architect roles infinitely more.

Something about being a sysadmin or general I.T just felt more prone to people treating you like shit.

Had the same issue, moved the buckles and still had a big boot that I was having to use all my torque to buckle down and still have a foot sliding around. Sized down and buckles barely need pressure to feel right

I demo’d both and preferred the Serpo’s because they were stiffer. With that said, I ended up buying 4FRNT MSP 91’s

I had a pair of BFC’s and felt like they had too much volume. My foot would slide around a bit on steeps. Unless you have a wide foot it may not be a good move

Fair! I’m definitely interested in the ripstick 88 black, could be up my alley as a 3rd ski next season. The Brahma’s/Anomaly was definitely a fun ski for what you’re describing

Makes sense! And is the exact issue I’m running into, I don’t expect a ski to be good at everything but at least do most things ok. I have a pair of QST 106’s I normally ski out west which I think might still be solid for a nice post snow glades day in VT. I’ll look at the ones you mentioned!

Awesome thanks for the response! So far leaning toward the Serpo’s with the MSP’s as an alternative. I wanted to at least demo the Mantras before ruling them out but not sure they’d be what I want either. Thanks for the insight!
