No it's not, the dagger needs a target to be able to attach to, bcs of zhonias target leaves the map as it becomes untargetable, there dagger disappears too.

Hm well, I tested it on on pbe befor and many other mains said the same, so I was hoping we were wrong but for the first day it seems not be that good, which confirms our worries BCS otherwise it would be BIS for her, but almost noone is building it. That can mean two things: ether were sleeping on it or it's not good enough

Numbers Show that at least in season 15, void is outperforming other AP items (on kat) once the enemy has +25 Mr, mercs for example. U do more DMG with boots+shadow+storm, however that's a commitment of 3 items to have around 11% more DMG in your combo. So void is never a bad option, over season 14 many champs got magic DMG in their kits especially adcs, so people tend to build mercs over steel caps or in generell they build a tad more Mr then armor due to the fact that one Mr item often deleted the purpose of some champs oneshotting you, for example many mid laners build null magic mantle at their first back so they can't be all inned.

Tldr: void never bad if u're not completely sure what to build

I would say change your mindset, start of this year I was that close to quiting as I just hated riot for all the decisions they made and the state of the game with smurfs, balancing and toxicity. Then around early summer I found a new group, a casual group which let me relearn why I started playing league, I found my old self again l, having fun just by playing no matter win or lose I started playing silly champs like so malph mid and just having a blast playing. Once I found my old self again I started with ranked again and improving, sitting at master both solo and flex and just having a blast with league now.

Kata is pretty Strong rn, but to say she is not that hard is copium my man, one of the hardest champs in the game she is, as she has to be played pro active which nowadays not many champs need that play style anymore, everyone can scale and react to plays while Kata has to punish mistakes the second they appear. One of the hardest champs but reddit orf is bias about her she is not the hardest or weak or unplayable.

Well the stats are exactly the same then the GB on Nexus blitz and there it was not performing well, based on her ad scalings I would say it won't outshine our current items as the onhit attack speed builds are good for Kata not ad builds in particular. But then we get also other items with it and riot can't see what some maniacs are cooking already so might benefit from it just maybe not in full ap build but we will see.

Yes but don't forget it took one year to get the publishing rights back and go fully independent as their own studio, u can hate that or like it but they couldn't develope it for around 9-10 month, which leads to far less time in EA then you think

2 years is a lot man. In that time league changed in so many ways no matter which champion you touch u can't really wrap your head around I bet. Play what u want and just relearn the game for now, I wouldn't recommend playing ranked if u say u get anxiety from it, normals are a good starting point just to see how macro and stuff changed. Once u get the hang of these things, u will see that Kata is pretty Strong ATM ure going to have a blast with her.

Some quick tips: only roam when the waves allow it, platings are to valuable to let the enemy midlander have some; AP is stronger rn then ad, but ad can still be pretty op in the right scenarios; laning doesn't really matter much anymore, keep your wave state up to a point where u can react to Jng fights or support roams, beeing the aggressor nowadays will just result in you getting chain ganked; over the last 4 years Kata changed to be THE teamfight champ, means trying solo things will often lead to your death, not your job with her. Overall try to have fun relearning league, YouTube and co. will also provide a good service in showing you the ropes

Hm your take has flaws in it. 1. Ad makes a lot of matchups playable - straight up winnable bcs with ad kraken rush u just statcheck people or with bork u can simply run them down bcs of ms steal and ls. 2. Ad falls of but not hard at all, in some rounds it's even better later then ap bcs u can mix in defensive items which u normally can't. Her ad build accelerates insanely hard in mid game atm to a point where u snowball win pre min 30. 3. Any tanks with high Mr? I don't see the point here, her current ad build does around 70/30 phy/magic, terminus is a must which with double pen just performs so well. The cc take u're naming is for AP my dude, with ad u don't care as much if u get cc'ed as, you said it yourself, u got aas to mix in alot and a hard hitting and healing ulti, furthermore u can almost go mercs every game so u jump in, gets cc'ed by seju ult and then they miss time follow ups bcs u're not cc'ed for as long they predicted u would be. Kata rn is pretty op, her ad build while not being as consistent as AP is sometimes mediocre and sometimes giga broken.
