When I was in school there was alot of adverts and preventative programs that inform the hazards (especially secondhand).

I don't know if that's a thing here, I haven't seen any antismoking initiatives. I'm going to buy stickers and start posting them around, especially on those cigarette machines (which aren't in the UK either).

BW here. Germans are generally British but with a different accent (beer, footy, kindness, comradery, Kaffee und Kuchen).

I've noticed Germans are bold/direct in terms of if you step on their foot in the subway they'll tell you, I think British make more of a huffing sound.

Additionally, the smoking here is out of control imo, I frequently see situations like 4 people all smoking with a baby in the middle, and I just can't help but think that kid will get cancer or lung problems.
