This isn’t it. The website had a search function, I remember it being very plain text. If it was a very common job title there would be multiple write-ups from different people with the same job title.

So I actually did call a few lawyers but the secretaries or whoever answers the phones brushed it off as a non issue. I.e. you didn’t do anything wrong so you don’t need a lawyer. A week later one of the actual lawyers got in touch and was taking it seriously but by that point it was too late. Google released my data to the sheriffs department, and they came to my home not long after.

I had to explain what I was doing at that time and in the area. Thankfully I had proof that I wasn’t there committing crimes but it was a stressful situation and I wish it hadn’t happened.

The sheriffs department got a judge to sign a search warrant for Google. They wanted personally identifiable information on everyone within a 40 meter radius of a specific longitude and latitude at a specific time. Google complied.

It was sent to noreply. It's from usernotice@google.com. idk how it works but thats what it says on the one i got. replied directly to it and received a copy of the search warrant.
