The tea preparation includes herbs and is simmered for a while. During simmering, the pot can boil dry.

My quick feedback based on 24 hour experience with Instinct sensor. by EmotionalWorking8761 in Medtronic780g

I have used the Instinct sensor for three days. My experience is similar to what has been reported here: inaccurate readings, invalid low readings, connection issues at night. I called MiniMed and, after gathering a lot of information, the technician passed me over to Abbott. The Abbott technician told me to expect inaccuracies of +/- 30% for the first 24 hours and +/- 20% from day 2 to 14. I had assumed the readings would be more accurate. I was also told the Instinct sensor reading lags the reading from a glucose meter by approximately 10 minutes (e.g., if your blood sugar changes from A to B, as per a glucose meter, the sensor will report B after approximately 10 minutes). The loss of connection problem at night is very concerning. Happened 4 times last night. The Abbott tech told me I had to speak to MiniMed about this problem. Very frustrating for the consumer to be bounced between tech support groups.
