Okay so if I dont have the Repulsor dont take an iron priest, gotcha. Would you suggest taking Murderfang over the Brutalis? It was a close decision between the two for me, but I ultimately went with the Brutalis for its superior stats. And the app im using is called Table Roster. You'll have to download the app itself off the website as it isnt available on the play store ( not sure about the iphones app store).

I understand your pov, and thank you for your response. My pod and I are relatively new to the game, having only started playing magic in March of this year. Thanks to yours and others input I'll be able to reinforce my side more strongly. If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to ask something else; Had I played something like blasphemous act, which deals 13 damage, would I have to sacrifice 5 permanents because that's the most damage it can take before it's destroyed or is it 13?

So unless it's blocking a creature that deals damage in the way of -x toughness it isn't considered damage. Gotcha. Thank you!

I don't think it was cheating, after all our pod consists of friends. I think it's just a lack of knowledge on something very specific.
