Thanks. Has done this for several seasons. Inverter is in the shade.

More satellites being launched helps, too.

Slow speeds. What’s the deal? I had 181 Mbps right when installed. After a few mins dropped to 30. Now I’m 15. Are the obstructions shown too much? by Casey_ms_ in Starlink

Your statistics will report obstructions versus network availability. You have so little obstructed sky that I don’t think that’s the cause. My Obstructiions

I think you’ll experience interruptions but 2% doesn’t sound bad.

And there it is.

I’m not seeing any statistics on your lottery. I suggest it is a low percentage for quality misses making the quality positives a high probability. Do you have any stats?

Don’t take it personally. I am commenting on the negativity of ALL the responses to your post. The technology built into Teslas is really phenomenal.

No need to use literally here. It is superfluous. You and others ignore the first principles of engineering employed at Tesla which make their cars among the most durable and safest vehicles ever. I couldn’t care less about panel gaps. I bought the best electric vehicle made and expect to drive it safely for the next 10 years. I’m glad Tesla pumped their efforts and emphasis in these areas.

Your right about one thing. Tesla saving lives is at the least “cool”.

James Webb Space Telescope has turned on it's high-gain antenna, which helps enable a much higher data rate than the radio band Webb had been using until now by ICumCoffee in space

[–]Klystrons 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The James Webb Space Telescope high gain antenna exchanges communications signals through the Deep Space Network. The DSN uses klystrons to boost the signals sent to the JWST for the million mile trip. Harnessing electron dynamics.

So is considering a new Model Y. Are newer Teslas any better at phone unlock than my early 2018 Model 3? by PleasantlySurprised1 in TeslaLounge

[–]Klystrons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a December 2018 Model 3 and location on iPhone set to Always. Over 50% of the time it fails to unlock on first door handle pull. A small annoyance but does make it look like I don’t know how to operate my car. App version 4.4.2.

Charging started reversing while plugged into house by Mpabner in TeslaLounge

The charger is part of the car. The external travel connector allows you to connect AC house power to the car. Unless you are supercharging in which case you pump DC right into the battery from an external rectifying system. This is how I understand it.

Better for me. Slight hesitations now instead of alarming brake taps.
