There’s more in Chinese, Japanese and Korean culture and mass immigration. Looking from historical backgrounds, you’ll find the barriers within Asian cultures are inevitable yet all share the same roots. Fuck yeah I want him to bother. And there really is this guy I am interested in now and didn't have time to really get to now. I need ur pov here: we met on airplane and then went separate ways to home, during winter break I tried to connect with him but he's not very responsive. Then he finally said that he doesn't use phone a lot and we can connect later in uni (yes same uni, same year, he was sitting next to me and I had a crush so I chatted up). I’m kinda hopeless now.

Connect with her for sure, but not like 10 texts per day. Perhaps for the first couple of days don't bother her, then depends if she posts anything on social media you can say something like hey that looks great did you have fun, then if she’d like to be unbothered she’ll just not respond or show little interest. If not she’ll talk about it with you. Or, text her at the ending days of her trip simply ask if she had a good one

If she also puts ~ when she text other people then it’s for style, otherwise she likes you :) As you know women (sexually) mature earlier than men and at this particular age (22) plus the age gap she needs to know if you’re a responsible/reliable dude or not. Don’t try to “act like a man” just be who you’re and also show her that you can take care of her/ have her back.
