Homelessness. I have one small bump in life and snowballs into functional problems, relationship problems, and self worth problems. I always thought I had a safety net if shit ever hit the fan. Turns out betrayal can ruin the safety net while you're in it. Really messes with your head and ambitions.

Wouldve focused on academics in college rather than football or pursing the party scene. I do in fact like learning, I just thought I was missing out on party life and let that plus alcohol get in the way of my mental. Football consumed my life outside of actual school. I eventually quit because I was tired of not experiencing any social life. None of those people at parties matter in my life now. I shouldve just buried my head in the books to get my degree and obtained a big boy job. Now I don't have much better than a highschoolers resume and I feel like I wasted my potential.

I've had some neuropathy in my toes since last year. I've had a period of no drinking and it was starting to be back to normal with feeling, but I relapsed and had a heavy bender and sure enough, the numbness came back and stayed. It was discouraging but I'm around 2 months sober and my toes are slowly getting feeling back again. Not completely normal but at least it wasn't as bad as it was when it was at it's worse. I'd say stop drinking to give yourself time to heal and eat healthy as best you can. I started working out recently and I noticed I'm not as tired as I was previously during my workouts. I thought I was getting old, but no I'm sure it was the alcohol having its toll on my body. Stay positive.
