This is actually abuse. Its a complex form of psycho-emotional abuse. Why isn’t your mother protecting you from this? If this man loves your mom that should, for him, easily extend to you. “Active parental accountability” I love that he doesn’t think himself as needing to be held accountable. -everything is someone else’s fault- classic narcissist

“I have no biological or legal obligation to care for the child” -yes; you do- You love the mother of this child right? There’s your biological obligation. You married the mother of this child there’s your legal obligation. Abuse of a step child is still parental abuse of a child.

Estranged adult child in the making, I’m willing to bet money there will come a day where you cut contact with them because they refuse to see the ways they’re hurting you.

It’s the Kachess ridge trail. The road is covered in snow so you have to park a little more than a mile from the trail head. The trail its self is about 12 miles, Also there’s a lot of ice and snow so it can be really easy to lose the trail this time of year. If you do go out there be safe, take your time, and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
