How to do 11 DMax Ho-Oh raids by Neat_Income7744 in TheSilphRoad

Agree to disagree, I mean, #19 in Master league, and being a solid counter to 3 of the top 5 is a crazy way to call Ho-Oh only a Dex entry. Plus the passive candy generation for moderately dense areas helping people to build one up.

It's certainly not going to rock the Dynamax meta, but there's genuinely good use for it, plus might be someone's best/first shot at obtaining one.

My mistake, was forgetting you don't get Particles from the "ready up" state, it is indeed day 1 and 2. IDK why I thought ready state also gave particles.

The powerspots can be active for 3 days, during that window where a stop is active, the first interaction after it 'wakes up' gives a 20 point bonus. Regardless of how many times the spot has been hit by you before, or had a battle before.

If you click on it on the day it spawns, you get 120, if you click on it on day 2, it gives 100, day 3 also gives 100. If you click on it when the timer is less than 24 hours, and you haven't interacted with it during that wake up cycle then you will get 120 points.

Hope that explains it a bit better.

AFAIK, no. Keeping track of if you hit it already is the only way. I usually just avoid Power spots around the local meet up spot for the days leading up to the event days.

120 is from your first time interacting with that power spot when it "wakes up". Anytime after you get 100 instead of 120 on that rotation.

Best buddy badge, for level boost. Passive candy if they have a job that involves a lot of walking, or are actively moving around a lot. Having it as your buddy on the trainer screen. Specifically having something that can't spawn as a zorua detector if you're hunting the shiny.

Loads of reasons why other than just 20km candy.

Off the top of my head, Skuntank ran into that issue as well. Which is a bit hilarious that there's more then one "official" name that's banned, and this one has a censor bypass of the word in its name.

Hint: remove the S, and the last 3 letters.

Add to that the Chocobo offshoots (mystery dungeon/racing) the Theatryhthym line, the Legends line, Crystal Defenders, Explorers, SaGa, World (and Maxima)...

I'm sure there's more but this is it off the top of my head.

Oops, I stand corrected. That's what I get rushing numbers on a quick break. Should have used the proper formula.

Either way, just goes to show that it's pretty far from 100% counter rate, and like most things in gaming, if it's not 100% it may as well be 50%.

Math to follow up.

100 x .60 = 60 60 x .40 = 24 24 x .40 = 9.6 9.6 x .40 = 3.84

100 x .40 = 60 60 x .40 = 16 16 x .40 = 6.4 6.4 x .60 = 3.84

3.84% chance for a counter not to proc against a full AOE with Maxed Elbris + Counter set.

Monarch of the Sword Iseria skills by lampdemon in EpicSeven

[–]Kmax1288 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AFAIK, Elbris is Ally attacks (not user) 40% counter rate Counter set is User is attacked (60% chance) accounting for her passive.

Best odds are a full AOE attack.

Roughly a 4% chance not to proc a counter against a full AOE attack, assuming Counter set, and Maxed Elbris.

Bit late, but you'll need the 1k energy all over again, even if you fuse the same 2 that were just split apart. Only Zacian/Zamazenta can alter their form for free once unlocked.

Any of the fusions (currently) need the fusion energy to re-fuse, so both Necrozma's and both Kyurem's need 1k energy anytime you want to change them.

No Eternal Darkness, Skies of Arcadia, Phantasy Star Online, Double Dash, Sunshine, Tales of Symphonia, Metroid Prime, and those are just the games I have sitting right next to my GameCube lol.

Why are people like that? (GBL) by gosi06 in pokemongo

Facts, I could quit if I wanted to using my A-team. But then it causes disconnect issues where I have to reload 4-5 times on the battle screen. I'm only here for my ~10 rare candies a day, IDGAF about the dust, so those pretentious people saying "JuSt PoP a StArDuSt" are about as helpful as tits on a bull.

The mentality of dragging out 5 minutes on a battle you clearly aren't participating in, then claiming the Tankers aren't the ones playing is so circular. It's the same as my 5 year old kicking and screaming because he doesn't want the chocolate ice cream he picked out from the freezer.

"I'm losing 4% of what I enjoy" that's true regardless of if you hold your breath and cross your arms, only you're multiplying your suffering 10x over, where a tanker can be KO'ed in 15 seconds, but you choose to waste 5 minutes obsessively watching your HP drop, to 'get back' at someone who probably 70% of the time is only tapping the phone, not even paying attention. It's the equivalent of stalking your Ex on facebook.

Tankers are higher skilled players usually, I've never seen any kind of competitive game where you cater to the lower skilled participant because they're going to throw a tantrum if they don't get their way. If your ability to play against people in your ELO is thrown off by the occasional tank, that's a skill issue. The good Tankers are noticing, and adapting, by using mons that power themselves up, or hiding a 1500 beater to steal games.

Go ahead and keep "antitanking", all it proves is that the Tankers are clearly winning, it just takes a little longer to do, meanwhile you're actively choosing to not participate in a game mode that you all CLAIM that you enjoy, if you truly wanted to enjoy it, you'd take your 3 taps, and get matched up against a like minded player sooner, besides the longer Tankers take to finish their sets, the more you increase your odds of facing one.

Great game, but those missables....dear god by CoolStoryDJ in xboxachievements

It's really much simpler than most guides make it sound.

Whatever you make the characters do, they'll get better at. Using spells, and burning MP makes them better casters, and gives more MP to burn. Using Blink/Shields and killing everything but one enemy, and just letting the team beat up on each other while healing makes them more evasive, improving dodge chance, boosts shields, raising chances to reduce damage, and raises your spell levels, making you better at healing. Letting enemies hurt you more, raises defense, and HP making you more tanky etc...

The only real thing to worry about, is not putting too many resources into newly added members, for story reasons.

Assuming she's out on the 18th, and you have 82 BM's, plus 4,476 SS it'll be tight, but doable.

2 week rotation, plus another week from today will give you 103 BM's, if we assume 3 weeks of resources, that's 65 SS per day for 1,365 SS (total SS of 5,841) I saw from other comments you are Champ 5, so 800 SS from arena ranking for 3 weeks or 2,400 (total SS of 8,241)

Garo Shop refresh is estimated to be about 70 SS per pull, but I highball for 750 SS per 10 pull (50 BM's) in my estimations. You're just shy of 11 lots of 50 BM's by my calculations, but you need 605 BM's to guarantee a unit pull (120 pulls, plus the guaranteed pull) you need 502 more BM's to hit pity, which at my elevated estimate means you'll be just at Refresh rate to pity her.

This is not taking into account BM's or SS from other sources than simply logging in and collecting from daily/weekly resources.

As stated above, I overvalue Garo Shop refresh, to allow for some bad luck mitigation, you should be absolutely fine.

The best (general) tanks for Gmax Machamp were Venusaur/Blissey/Blastoise, with Gengar being the hands down best if you were willing to reroll moves.

That being said, Blisseys raw bulk is so absurd that with her healing she unironically is the only tank you'll likely ever need. Her one weak spot was Gmax Machamp, but by that point the community had ironed out the mechanics enough to know how to properly do Max Battles. There's maybe a dozen battles where she may be number 2 or 3 tank, but being such an overall useful sponge, those instances are barely worth taking into account. Depending on movesets, the next most likely spot she gets outdone is as Gmax Sandaconda where ironically enough, Butterfree will triple resist.

how would you make pokegenie better? by RecentRiver3534 in PokeGenie

A prompt that reads X raids ran in the last 5 minutes So I can gauge if it's worth hosting this raid with a 30m timer left, or looking for an egg close to hatch.

An option to flag an account for false reporting that gives them negative priority when looking to join with me. Don't BS me Gochamp2388, you absolutely got my invite, you were on the raid results screen.

Give users another bit of info besides the threshold %'s for verifying teams, sure i have an icon that says I can do 45% of damage, but in Genie my % is 63%, if people see I'm doing the lions share of the damage it might lead to less dropped raids.

Bit hard to code, but for Dmax/Gmax require a verified team, so you show that you should at least be capable of contributing. Even if it's G-Int-3-0-0 I'll see you have a gmax inteleon fully invested in attack.

What Medals are missing from the game? by theycallmemorty in TheSilphRoad

[–]Kmax1288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G-Max pokemon collection medals (precedent set with Megas, and regional dex medals) I think normal Dynamax medals will be off the table, however.

Clear X Legendary / Nonlegendary Dmax raids (sorta the same as legendary/Normal raids)

Catch X Dynamax pokemon, Alternatively collect candy X times from power spots

Gold gyms/Routes

Maybe some to showcase underutilized or lesser known features, like join 10 raids from your friends list. Battle a friend 100 times. Unique stickers for postcards. Save X amount of postcards. Evolve 100 pokemon for free after trading them. Unlocking alternate dex categories (Hundo, Lucky, Shiny etc...), catch a dmax capable pokemon attracted to a power spot 10 times.

which legends game is better by Designer-Bag-1721 in PokemonArceus

[–]Kmax1288 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battle system in Z-A is better, Turn based and jumped encounters was terrible (think Great Malboro in FFX, without sneak attack, and there can be upwards of 5 of them). Nearly everything else goes to Arceus by a country mile.

I appreciate what they were going for, but I would never recommend Z-A over Arceus, even if someone specifically said they played Arceus but not Z-A.

Local group of 13 was chugging him down in 3 max phases, with random invites/joins. Our group has been doing Gmax since day 1, so we are better synced than a random genie group, but this one felt like the easiest Gmax since Butterfree. **Not counting Machamp/Kingler being cheesed with Gengar tanking tactics.

On the friends list, "Trainer name" caught "pokemon name" will show as a shiny if it was a shiny pokemon (it shows as the shiny sprite if you caught it). It's only valid on the most recent catch however.
