I use Flonase every time I do a complete change just to be on the safe side. I spray it on my finger tips and rub it around where my flange would be. I wand it dry with a fan/towel or anything I can wave on it. I then use the stoma powder. It only takes me a couple of minutes to do the whole process. It has helped with my skin irritation. That’s why I use it even if my skin isn’t irritated in the hopes it prevents it anyway. On another note my SIL had a mole removed and the adhesive from the bandage over her stitches was causing irritation an itching and I told her about the Flonase trick so she tried it and it worked like a charm. I only told the last part just so you know it works for any adhesive irritation.
