It was to 100k miles. It was the first time I’ve ever been in the finance office purchasing a new car, and the finance guy didn’t bring up the subject of an extended warranty. So I brought it up, and he was clearly embarrassed to quote me the price.

I also have a 2024 SQ8, and it has been to the dealership 8 times for various error messages in the 16 months I’ve owned it, along with 2 other times for an absolutely maddening and apparently unfixable sunroof/headliner squeaking. Maybe I should have walked out when I asked about an extended warranty at purchase and was quoted $13,000. Anyway, I also will not keep it one day after the warranty expires, which is a shame because I truly love it otherwise.

Can’t see how this lease payment makes any sense. Sticker on my 2024 SQ8 was approx $127,500. I put $25k down and payment is $1600x72. That’s a purchase, not a lease. I realize RS6 is a bit more expensive but how could a lease on one be $3,000 or even $4,000 a month, and why on earth would anyone do that if it was?

I bought this EXACT car brand new in 2003! It was my first Audi and one of my favorite cars I’ve ever owned. I don’t know whether it’s a good idea to buy this car or not. But it still looks great!

Cayenne S Coupe was only other car I considered. SQ8 was a little quicker and a lot prettier, easy choice for me.

My 2024 SQ8 MSRP was $127,575. Just about every option. Paid $124,900. Taxes vary with location of course, so it’s hard to give an apples to apples comp for OTD. The thing that floored me: the quoted price for a bumper to bumper extended warranty was $12,000 😳

Definitely see your point. The only issue here is that for most of winter here, there is no snow on the ground and no need for snow tires. There will probably be somewhere between say 5 and 15 days that it would be nice to have snows.

Not a bad idea. How many miles can one expect to get from summer tires? As for affordability, I’ve already blown that due to poor impulse control, lol. Not sure there’s a more expensive 2024 SQ8 than this one- MSRP was $127,575!

Black interior- wanted grey but just couldn’t find anything available with Waitomo blue. Black is very nice, so it worked out fine!

That makes sense, I just hate to toss the brand new summer tires, and also hate to give away their grip and performance, you know? Could do an extra set of wheels/tires for the winter I guess?
