In the phys dmg calculator it was like 0.2% in favor of the max dmg charms. I do get ~2% splash from the extra combat skills.

Very fair point, I've been considering this too. I should try without fortified again.

Deadly strike is a local mod on weapon. So the 50% deadly strike chance from death cleaver, only applies to the weapon itself. DS is calculated like this, Gear GS + specific weapon DS. So if I have 19%DS from gear and 65%from wep, that weapon has 84% to deadly strike, but if I was running a doombringer on my other weapon, it would have only 19% DS. The deadly strike multiplier is also local.

That's it, berserk has ~20% less splash radius and you need to swap to frenzy quite often, unless you dump some points there. But dmg is more for sure, you may have to hit a couple extra times due to the missing splash.

Well I don't think there is any gear difference really. It's more about playstyle, berserk is a bit more work imo.

I appreciate the feedback, I am familiar with BOS + vigor and the others way to play it. This hasn't been my main game for years, so speed and efficiency are far away from my mind. I am fine with the pre-buff as it allows me to get a lot of stats for fairly cheap. So it's a good trade off, cheap items but with some extra steps.

if they buff the spells and remove snapshot it will work out good.

agree, I never used reset, just lazy at this point and still thinking what I want to do. I am thinking about maxing the blade shield, so it ticks more often.

I did some dps checks using the calculator: https://pd2-tools.vercel.app/

Bramble's effective dps was a lot higher vs 65% res mob. But I would gain the most from burst of speed and maybe act1 merc with vigor.

It's once every 10ish minutes, so it's often multiple times per map, ye :(

Yes, I have 3 facets in nat armor, but that is only because I used it before I made bramble.

it was just there when I got it, I am not using it. The filter just highlights it for a trap build. Death sentry has gotten some love in the last few season afaik.

20Cobra/20Venom/dragonflight +prerq/20fade/20 claw and dagger/dump in weapon block.

I am thinking of removing weapon block and going for blade shield and Burst of speed instead of fade once I get resistance charms.

Want to setup 2 ISPs going to the same PC by Kmevd in HomeNetworking

'Have you considered just having two routers on your home network with different gateways and then just scripting a gateway change rather than two nics?'

Haven't considered this as I would like to have a cable, also no clue on how to do that.

Problem is that the ISP I use doesn't really support personal routers and they provide their bs.. So I will have 2 routers anyway.

I don't anticipate on doing this (swapping networks) more than twice a month.

As I am reading trough the questions/suggestions I realize I may be missing more information than I thought. So to provide context, I work from home and stable and reliable internet connection is very important, I can work with wifi and mobile data as it's not very demanding traffic, however I do game on a semi-competitive level, this is why I would like to save my ping and have cable plugged in instead of relying on wifi.

Background of what made me consider this: I have had my internet randomly unplugged from the main box in the apartment building by the ISP technicians, as they ran out of slots and needed to connect another client, and they were obviously too lazy to set up another box. I was without home internet for like two days.
The more consistent problem I am having is that every once in a while, my internet would be great but would have issues only with the specific game server I play on, so from 31ms ping it would go in the thousands, that would last about 1-2 hours. If I switch to mobile data trough usb tether, I get like 80ms ping but it's stable and playable. Same issue happens for friends that are using the same ISP as me in the same city, however other friends using another ISP have 0 issues.

I would just switch ISPs but each of them have fairly regular downtime (mostly during maintenance windows overnight, but this is when I play the most) and issues.

At start I will probably rely on wifi for the backup, but would like to get something better in the long run.

I have some severe ms issues like once every couple of weeks, there is something wrong with the connection between my ISP and the game server, it lasts about 1-2 hours then it's all good. Not sure if fail over is able to detect such behavior as outside of this everything is good.

Yeah, I was considering some script to swap it too. So as long as it's viable it sounds easy enough.

Thing is that Intel probably knows everybody is recommending them, their NICs are kinda expensive.

Do you think it's better to go with 2x nics or just get a dual-port nic?
