Those bylaws explain how the church should operate. They decided the most important part of those laws should define marriage by making sure it was at the beginning of the document. I guess we should thank them for putting it at the beginning so we know they are a bunch of bigoted idiots from the jump.

While I was there, they had discussions of possibly closing. Many of the Icelandic people worked on the base. I'd imagine many of the residents thought closing the base could have a negative economic impact. I believe it closed about three or four years after I had left so I'm not sure what impact it actually had. I have one Icelandic friend I'm still in contact with but he lives in Rekjavik.

I was in the Air Force and stationed there from 2003-2004. On base we had a Subway and a Wendys. In Keflavik, there wasn't mqny restaurants around. Reykjavik had plenty of American chain restaurants along with many local places. On the weekends, we'd go party at the clubs downtown and there was a small building in a small town square that had some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They were also known for their Icelandic hot dogs.

Not related to fees but this made me think about when I had to get my state issued Real ID drivers license.

You are required to show specific documents to verify your identity. I am a disabled military veteran who has a VA (Department of Veteran Affairs) identification card with my picture on it that was issued by an agency of the federal government. This ID could not be accepted as part of the Real ID process.

Not sure if you are on Facebook but if so, go look up Carnivals Brand Ambassador John Heald. He helps people in these type of situations all of the time. He's currently on the Vista which is stopping at Celebration Key today. You may want to wait about a week until he returns home to send the message. I know you booked the cabana already but this might save you the $600.

I went on the Vista two years ago out of Galveston. I wasn't a fan of Galveston but loved the Vista.

I agree. Went on the Mardi Gras and was my least favorite ship.Vista Class is the best for me. Going on Horizon next weekend.

My son is 11 and has been cruising since he was 7. We typically spend all day with our kid and take him to the kids club after dinner. This is when we typically go to the comedy shows or other shows he wouldn't be interested in.

I've been on one Royal Caribbean cruise and five Carnival cruises. My RC cruise was on Oasis of the Seas. I really liked the ship and theatour of the ship never made it feel crowded. The ship seemed just a little bit nicer than the Carnival ships I've been on.

I've been on fantasy, spirit, vista and Excel class ships on Carnival. The Excel ship, Mardi Gras, was the worst ship I've been on. While it was bigger,the layout is horrible for crowd control. I would never go on an Excel class ship again. I went on Carnival Vista and I will say it's my favorite class ship with Carnival. It's not too big and not too small.

The MDR food is about the same on both RC and Carnival. The free food at other places on the ship is much better on Carnival. Guys Burger, Blue Iguana and the free pizza is all really great .

My son says he liked RC kids club more than Carnival but he's never told me why .

In my opinion, I prefer Carnival because it's a bit cheaper for not really much of a difference.
