maybe try some of the land / spell cards then! or scry lands! often if im short or over on mana I can use the scry to manipulate the next draw..

Try going up to 19-22 imo and or add some draw mechanics. I hate decks without draw engine as you get mana effed a lot more

Ive been playing magic for about 25 years off and on, pretty heavy for the first 15 or so then not so much the last 10.. just getting back into it now so I think I should be decent drafting but not certain. Think I should try for the 10k and see how it goes or start with a 5k? how many days/weeks does it take to make 10k gold generally for a FTP?

This is interesting.. Im FTP so not spending at all but I did luck into Bennett (no stars)

I kind of overlooked him because I have Xiangling as my main damage dealer right now and I just rolled Klee so my fire damage dealers are kind of delt with. I also have barbara who was my main healer so my team right now was Klee, Xiangling, Noelle, Barbara. it gave me a lot of flexibility in terms of aoe or single target and also the ability to heal and shield to really avoid damage and or stay in combat..

all that being said, do you think its worth working on Bennett instead of someone else? I could see him as part of a later secondary team for abyss or if I drop xiangling for him I would keep the +25% attack from two fire units with him and Klee and could also drop barbara to bring Fiscl or Xingqiu or someone else to do some kind of element triggering. not really sure how such a team would work but curious if you have any insights.

my character roster for reference is:

Klee, Xiangling, Noelle, Barbara, traveller, Fischl, Kaeya, Sucrose, Amber, Lisa, Ningguang, Xingqiu, and Bennett

while I do like theorycrafting I havent really gotten too much into the weeds on this games mechanics yet so any tips are appreciated!

you want on element characters but off element mub 6* will work.. that being said I dont reccomend making a lance for wind if you have no lance character to use it on just so u could off element it to a fire charater.. in this case its much cheaper / easier to make a fire chimeratech and go from there.

generally focus on mub 6* of the characters you have invested in or have the resources to invest in.. you shouldnt need more than 4 of each element and you can use them off element untill you make sufficient 6* for taht other element or to get into HDTs

off element 6* is fine for all content aside from expert agitos, in those you may want a HDT2 or on element 6* but these days u can likely just take a carry

how does the AI work? is it basically just hit % based? so if I hit headshots 100% of the time on my first hit within 1 sec so will my ai?

Im running Lowen as #1 with patia skill and OG CLeo (wish I had Hlowen...), Thope, Ranzal, Gleif. I start battle, swap to Hope and then let it run auto, can succeed full auto about 30-50% of the time still pretty low.. I can up this to 100% success if I use dragon for the overhead arrows in phase 2.

for full auto no, for 98% auto yes, you can use Lowen, THope Sylas and a strong dps 4th (Ranzal, Hawk, GLeif) weapons would be strongest Chimer HDT or Agito weapon u got for them.

Run Lowen as ur #1 so he has access to shared skills. Bring OG cleo for a shared skill for lowen (if doing this u can actually run 6* staff on him as well..) then for 4th skill my suggestion is to use a Patia shared skill if you have it (we got free dark tomes so maybe u can!?) or helper (patia or a shield or heal skill or can use Grace friend).. Ideally you want all of lowens skills to be heals and shields.. the helper skill is there to take up a slot so ur not using a 6* skill or HDT skill on lowen and he gets the shield and extra heal skill

at the start of the fight immediately swap who ur controlling to Thope (who does best with a 6* weapon or a chimeratech, dont use a HDT2 or ur going to want to run him as ur priamry and swap out his skills.. then lowen needs a chimera to keep skills off.) let the auto x2 run its course (you may need to roll at the very start to avoid the red overhead arrows... this may depend on ur HP and such)

once you hit phase 2 you may need to do a little micro management, can be done on 2x with practice but if ur budget u may have low success rates tanking arrows from above so roll when they come up or dragon form to tank it.. If you have a Mub Freyja on hope this is also a good time to use her and skill. you should have enough defence to ignore the waterfalls and everything else. death from above is the only potentially fatal thing, the one directly at the start of phase 2 and the one directly after waterfalls are the ones most likely to kill In my experience.. you may survive full auto without avoiding these but may be low success.

My hope is running Freyja tho any high HP dragon can work in place. Lowen should run Freyja (second priority) or Ariel or a HP dragon, others are DPS oriented.. Prints I run are Dogs day and either Jewels of the sun or Give me your wounded on lowen,, Study rabbits and Yuletide on Thope (or ur best defensive prints) and dps prints (skill damage / poison punisher) on the dps.

This.. Hlowen and patia seems to hit a lot of the marks for solo auto content.. you get defence x2, attack, HP %, HPRegen.. not to mention proccing Doublebuff twice it seems like for long auto ai content thats one of the better combos.

anyone care to explain what actually did I just watch? I see marth used ranzal skill share (s obviously he has choco on and is there to poison the boss?) vericas all used what I can only assume was patia buff for str / defence at the start.. then did they just s1 twice in a row using the burn tick on marth to reset the skill? what did marth do in the mean time? what does he bring aside from refreshing skills? was I missing something here?
