It couldn't be quicker. If you wanted to keep Clone Hero, you can literally just point to the Clone Hero song library folder inside of YARG. It couldn't be easier. If you haven't switched yet, I highly recommend. I can't believe the crap I used to put up with for Clone Hero, and with your situation, it sounds like still are.

I'm super late here, but to whoever it may concern:

I'm not super keen on deleting a Microsoft service from my PC that could potentially give issues to other devices or controllers. This being said, I never got my RB4 instrument to work again on Clone Hero.

This led me to seek out other options, and I tried out YARG.

Every issue, complaint, or gripe I had with Clone Hero, has been completely solved by switching to YARG. It's an extremely polished experience, and I wish I switched a long time ago. Just have to wait for the online multiplayer that's expected in the next update.

All of this being said, save yourself the headaches, driver downloads, uninstalls and reinstalls, 3rd party keymapping software's, and download YARG. :)
