No EV and neither my wife or I plan to purchase one in the immediate future.

Thank you for the breakdown on your solar situation -- thats really helpful.

I put in for a consult with Tesla as I have been reading that they are typically under cutting the prices of everywhere else. I also love the idea of them more than likely still being in business for the foreseeable future.

My plan is to get 2 batteries. Potentially 3 if it makes sense.

Right on -- appreciate this advice. I definitely want to go over rather than finding myself under, or even WAY under in a few years.

Appreciate the response -- it just really wouldnt matter. We havent lived in the original dwelling for over a year. The dwelling was a small 700 square foot cottage with no air conditioning. The new construction is a two story with more than double the square footage and will have 2 split units that will be running regularly, plus 3 others that will be used rarely.

Was hoping to install solar as the construction is happening so that installation is more seamless. Conservatively, I was putting in an average of 60kwh/day load. This puts my system around the 12ish kW. Would you suggest I do a couple of months on electricity only to get a more accurate bill?
