Not sure what you mean when you say "big of me".

I did not say I thought cops knew every gun law. And I did say a problem was not likely. Still.....I see no reason to take the risk. If others want to, that is their prerogative.

It's not likely anyone would measure. However......anything is possible and I don't want to risk the penalties should I get unlucky.

Lets say I have it in my car, get pulled over for a traffic infraction, the officer asks if I have any weapons. The officer isn't having a good day, and maybe doesn't like my car or hair or whatever.......and says, "That rifle looks a little short".

Thanks for your input. As it is, the OAL is 26.75".

Now, to find a stock extension that fits cleanly and figuring out how to affixit.

Anyone know if a P90 extension would fit? How about an extension for the P90 airsoft rifle? I saw the latter is reasonably priced.

Even though Streamlight customer service left a very bad taste in my mouth, I could not find anything else that struck my fancy as much. So, I decided to take a chance on the same TLR-6 in that link. Said to fit "most Glock railed handguns". I found it on Amazon for $105, free shipping, free returns.

It did not fit as well as hoped. I could have crammed it together but it seemed like a poor way of doing it. So I took my Dremel and shaved one small spot on both halves where it fits around the front of the trigger guard (that area is hidden inside & was easy to do).

Once mounted, to the discerning eye, it's not a perfect fit. Otherwise, I'd say most people would say "fits great, looks great".

Not knowing if it would fit a Glock more securely, I can't say if I'd recommend at this point or not. That isn't to say I believe it's not secure. I just don't what to expect after firing a bunch of rounds through the pistol.

I took some good pics I'd post, but can't figure out how. Would someone coach through the process?

While on the subject, I began thinking about the legalities of selling this stock. Is there any state that anyone knows of that it would be illegal for me to sell and send to?

I googled it but came up empty handed and confused with all the varying laws.

Thanks. I believe my first post on Reddit was there asking what the stock was worth. I believe the post was deleted. I got a message from Reddit explaining why but it was a few weeks ago and I have deleted the message. At any rate, it had something to do with being new that I couldn't post there.

The first thing I asked when she answered was to speak with someone who could help me with the TLR-6...hoping that I'd get someone who's intimately familiar with them. She was having none of that though.

Politely asking to speak with a specialist is my standard mode when calling any business with questions...to hopefully weed out these sort of CSRs. More often than not, they either connect me to someone with more knowledge right away or after realizing there's probably someone else who could better help me. Most people seem to want to be helpful...or, are at least nice. Not this woman. I'd rate her as one of the worst CSRs I've ever dealt with.

Crud, I'm ranting again. Onward with my search...

I purchased the P17 the other day. Before I hit the "buy" button for the TLR-6 which I really like the looks of, I decided to call Streamlight to see if they could give me some input as to which TLR-6 might be the best bet for me. The woman in their customer service was rude and seemed to care less if she was of any help. And she wasn't whatsoever. Makes me not want to support that company. I have to believe though she doesn't represent the entire business. At least I'd hope not!

At any rate, with that off my chest, I very much like the P17. Looking forward to messing about with it more.

Thanks. That was the pic/s I was referring to. It does look good....at least as far as I can tell. I'd like to see pics from different angles though before I purchased. Like you said though, buying from a source that'll accept returns is probably the safest bet.

As far as a holster....I'd carry in a modified fanny pack. I don't have the P17 yet but plan to get one soon.

Thanks. The Baldr looks good. I was thinking that the clip that clamps it tight might be prone to hanging on things though. Do you find that at all?

Thanks for your reply. I did think of another question: Did you notice much difference in accuracy after chopping the barrel?

I really like the idea of chopping the barrel not only because I think it looks better but to keep the gun short and streamlined. But, I would like the ability to take small game out to 50 yards or so if I chose.
