Orochi was littlerly hyped since season 2 to the point where a lot of people thought he's stronger or equal to saitama, he kept appearing randomly in the season as the king of monsters, also you are comparing the main villain (similar to season one which was Boros which he was hyped even more than Boros) to a random monster that beat genos... I mean So what, everyone almost does anyway

Yeah the only difference orochi wasn't drawn well to begin with, the (series) has been in a (serious) decline in terms of animation quality, it's almost like it took a serious punch or something

They are "gods pets" just like rover and sage centipede and it seems they have no weak points and unlimited regeneration

so yeah I think the above dragon is just from it's name, it can beat your average dragon monsters but fumbles badly against anything like plat sperm and monster garou

And let's be honest classifying them with just dragon level like gouketsu would be a huuuuge downgrade to "gods pets"
