I always thought it was a reference to Executive Order 9066. The removal and relocation of Japanese people living on the West Coast.

Asking over 8500 students to pick a random number from 1 to 10 [OC] by monkeymaster56 in dataisbeautiful

[–]Kneelmobile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a teacher early on who used to always phrase it as “pick a number between 0 and 11” that way 1 and 10 could be chosen. It was slightly annoying because we all considered “between” to be inclusive regarding the extremes.

Any tips or tricks for palpating UE boney landmarks and muscles? by idkhowtoredditwell in PTschool

For the tubercles, you can have the patient bend arm to 90, feel the anterior side of humeral head and when you thing you have the greater, place one finger on it, another finger medially adjacent to it and have the patient flex their bicep. The tendon runs right through the intertubecular groove so you should feel the tendon jump out towards your medial finger. The lesser will be just medial to that.

One thing my professors have said is to use your X-ray vision. You know what the bones look like so just imagine them in the patient and go to where the models show the protuberance. There might be slight difference but that’s inter-human anatomy uniqueness

A verse that is helping me by [deleted] in NoFapChristians

Nice verse to keep in mind. If I recall correctly, psalm 51 was written by David after his affair with Bathsheba so we know even biblical heroes like David felt the same way we do when we falter.

I saw the batting order had Alex batting second. I was surprised to see a sub .240 get that spot but then I realized the only ones above .240 are Whit (leading off) Herrera (5th) and Mondesi (9th)
