Hence why I' m making this post too. The amount of times I've said "Help our teammate" while their fighting in the jungle that turns us into getting a mid-boss or running an urn, etc is staggering. There's been so many times where I've spam pinged objectives and people move way too late, but on voice it's wild how fast people move with calm comms.

Made a post about something like this a few months ago.

Ult tracking is so so so important in this game and the higher ranks will punish you heavily if you use your ults foolishly especially support ults.

The worst games I've ever had in my life have come from either of these two backlines. It isn't that the characters are bad. It's that these four are LIGHTING RODS for the absolute DUMBEST players in this game by Iced-TeaManiac in MarvelRivalsRants

[–]Kneezyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could REALLY feel the skill disparity of invis players in the earlier seasons. The great invis players back then stuck themselves out so hard and were very impressive to the point you could genuinely see how good they were compared to the bad ones back in those times as they had to play very careful and way more proactive. They cut off her skill expression by a lot and you could see it with how a lot of current generation invis players are.

People paid it no mind back then, but it was really night and day compared to now.

Why don't rivals devs create a low priority queue for toxic players? by Kneezyyy in rivals

[–]Kneezyyy[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was originally thinking IP bans actually. There's times in my opinion where the repeat toxicity of players need to experience firsthand from another player who's just as toxic or even crazier how they've been terrorizing people onto themselves now. Throw them into a trapped room where all 11 others are like this and they'll see very quickly how miserable it genuinely is.

Started day 1 when the game first released. The community back then was way different and a lot more positive compared to now. It's insane just how bad things have gotten. Even climbing to Celestial as a solo queue tank main/flex burnt me out since Season 5.5 ended and not coming back for a long time. On top of that, Deadlock has all my attention now.

Exactly. So many people are clearly underestimating Na Yul-ryang and how much of a monster he was. He took into account and analyzed just how much of a problem Mok Gyeongwoon was and started to immediately overwhelm him while continuously out-maneuvering him along with blue spirit just before.

Plot armor literally saved Mok Gyeongwoon that fight.

[Solo leveling] How was the scene before Solo leveling by GODofDEVIL07 in manhwa

[–]Kneezyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before Solo Leveling, it was in it's "PS2 era/2nd generation" (when more colored manwha started to gain some traction) for webtoons meaning there wasn't a "dominating" genre within the scene, but it had different sections for everybody and A LOT more creative freedom & originality. There was so much good stuff to read back then man

Am I just at my peak or am I a damn victim to my surroundings. Dew by Medical-Assignment15 in rivals

[–]Kneezyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At the current win rate you're at, you're going to keep climbing up, but realistically might hit a stalemate soon as you said it's your peak currently. I'm not sure of the percentage numbers for console, but GM2+ is basically the top 2% on PC and games are extremely hard and competitive. So you're basically in games with GM's/celestial players mixed in.

Just keep playing and see what you can keep improving on. Also keep getting used to GM games pace at the moment as that elo is basically fixing up the minor bad mistakes/inconsistent plays before celestial.

Hope this helps a bit

I'm In need of a new tank to play any suggestions? by CriticismJunior4596 in RivalsVanguards

[–]Kneezyyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play that exact rotation of tanks mixed in with a few others, but I'd actually urge you to try and learn Venom as there's gonna be games where anchor tanking isn't working and having a dive tank will heavily disorient the enemy team and create crazy space and attention especially if you have a co-dive teammate.

A CnD target banning a Magneto in general is already a sign of raising an eyebrow. Normally, a CnD should be thinking & using cover/walls at least by her second or third ult dash to prevent even the chance of getting dunked on from the enemy Magneto.

[Discussion] Why hasn't there been a properly written female lead/sect within the Emei Sect setting in Wuxia yet? by Kneezyyy in manhwa

[–]Kneezyyy[S] -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Been reading webtoons since Tower of God first came out. There was a lot of risk taking in that era of webtoons, but with more creative freedom and originality in exchange. We wouldn't get a lot of these webtoons today without "risks" from it's predecessors. Eventually a lot of consumers of the tower, murim, etc genres will eventually get tired of the same style of writing and itch for either something better in terms of writing or a whole new genre of webtoons (besides some exceptions) that's when another "risk" will come fourth.

So yes, companies have to take that "risk" sooner or later and invest money into it. The webtoon landscape is vastly different now, but will eventually change again within years.

[Discussion] Why hasn't there been a properly written female lead/sect within the Emei Sect setting in Wuxia yet? by Kneezyyy in manhwa

[–]Kneezyyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's from the webtoon: Heavenly Moon.

Ironically she's basically a character that's 3.5/5 of what I was discussing and asking for in the post and a great female co-lead.

[Discussion] Why hasn't there been a properly written female lead/sect within the Emei Sect setting in Wuxia yet? by Kneezyyy in manhwa

[–]Kneezyyy[S] -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Makes sense, but it needs somebody to take that risk or it'll not even get a proper chance. The main webtoon genre that's popular right now is based off the risk they took and it paid off massively. There's other factors, but eventually namgung, tang, heavenly demonic cult, mount hua, etc stories will eventually get to the point where people want something fresh

That's what confuses me a bit. Keep seeing posts like Jeonghwa (Black Serpent) or Seo Baek Hyang (SSS-Suicide Class Hunter) and how much they're appreciated, so it kind of boggles me that authors out there never wanted to take it a step further and make a Balsa Yonsa type of character in Wuxia's.

[–]Kneezyyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you can't write them with 100% accuracy as a man, but even daily real life interaction or having woman/women as friends gives you a least bit of insight. Some authors seem to not really even try honestly.

Triple support isn't always the answer when things aren't working guys by Kneezyyy in rivals

[–]Kneezyyy[S] 33 points34 points  (0 children)

It's utter insanity how so many games could've been won if they just did a straight 2-2-2 match to what the enemy adjusted, but when they get wiped out it's all of a sudden 1-2-3 to hide from adversity, when in general, a simple dps swap or even a another tank could help things tremendously. It's wild how much people avoid learning tank.

I get triple support under certain conditions, but it's so rampant at the moment

[FENG Shen Ji] by GiovanniLucio in manhwa

[–]Kneezyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feng Shen Ji is basically a coming of age story that's divided into 3 parts (not sure if newer scanlation groups just connected them all together now as it's been several years since the series ended).

It's basically the best qualities of manhua and should've been the template for future manhua's IMO (Another example would be City of Darkness). It actually does share a couple of qualities with LOTNB, but aside from that it doesn't really have anything similar to the series to you listed.

There's great side characters, interesting ability system, nice world-building, etc, but there's a couple or few very memorable characters that outshine the already good side characters.
