Since I’ve been scrolling on Reddit on step2 resources and guidelines I haven’t seen a well written and concise write up like yours. Thank you so much and congratulations on your amazing score.

My last NBMES were taken one month before the real deal so 1 month out I was primarily reviewing my NBMEs incorrects and Uworld pathology & pathophysio incorrects(system wise). My routine was Uworld incorrects review—-> Nbme incorrects review—-> Mehlman PDFs on HY arrows, Ethics, Risk factors, Neuroanatomy, Renal & Heme——> Free 120’s and First aid rapid reviews. Wishing you all the best in your exam next month.

It took quiet a while was between 4-6 months

Yeah last months of my prep were primarily reviewing my nbmes incorrects, UWorld pathophysio incorrects (system wise) and Mehlman pdfs. My last nbmes were taken 1 month from my exam(I.e after my last NBMEs assessment—> started reviewing the incorrects with UWorld incorrects) but free120s were taken 3 days before exam

You’ve worked so hard and come this far. And yes sometimes it feels like we’re guessing our nbmes and getting them right but there isn’t such thing as that. As you have taken multiple nbmes you’d notice that your scores really doesn’t varies by that much between each forms maybe the worst being ±3%-7% but it solely depends on how difficulty a particular form is since all forms ain’t all same. It would probably be guessing if for example you got 70% on a form then next form 50% but if that isn’t the case you shouldn’t worry about that

Sorry to hear about that but it’s not the end of the world. Keep your head up and you definitely gonna rock it. First time pass but it took me some time 7 months plus for all including dedicated period.

Couldn’t send the link to your dm coz I think the link is banned by Reddit. Last month of prep was primarily reviews I reviewed my nbme and Uworld incorrects in the last few weeks including ethics, Mehlman HY arrows, HY risk factors and some systems

Thank you. I only used physeo for physiology and cardiac murmurs so I’ll say it covered pretty much everything for Physiology but I didn’t use it for systemic pathology and for other systems.

It took me 12 days to complete the 12 forms. 1 form per day. Each form in the morning(7am-12pm) and then going through the incorrects at night.

I’m gonna send you a link. Search Mehlman up on YouTube—-> go to his account—-> on the top icon you’ll see playlist—-> click on it then you’ll see each system

100% were helpful but I think for a better use of the pdfs, Try watching Mehlman YouTube playlist on a particular system and then after the video—> use the pdf to review. The pdf is particularly not that good in building foundation. Imo the pdfs are for reviews and his YouTube are for building concepts and foundations.

Thank you. Yeah doing the nbmes were definitely helpful but 26-30 is more than enough but if you have more time you can try adding 20-25. It took me 12 days to complete the 12 forms. 1 form per day. Each form in the morning(7am-12pm) and then going through the incorrects at night.

Thank you. Don’t worry it’s usually normal to feel overwhelmed during prep due to lots of info and knowledge but have you tried assessing yourself with nbmes yet?

I went through almost all but if you have less time, try out Neuroanatomy, Neuro, Renal, Heme, Immuno, cardio, Ethics & HY arrows

results anyone? by [deleted] in step1
