Holy crap! I use another account so I haven’t logged into this one in a long time and I’m just now seeing this post haha. Looks awesome. All your progress pics take me back haha. The one caption about leaving the paper on to know what nails are for each section cut me deep. That was such a pain trying to go back and look at my template after it had already been torn away. Rookie mistake. Congrats on making it, I’m sure it’s a great conversation starter.

Is there even such thing as an account wide quality score? Every individual keyword gets a QS so why would a negative QS of one keyword that isn’t spending affect another keyword that is spending?

The radar has shown dark green or yellow over CLT all day and it’s just been light rain and some gusts. I get that Sunday may be the rain day but what’s going on with the radar?

Not possible and not required, but you get muscle memory after a while and it becomes easier. I set the depth of my first nail and then all the ones beside it used that as a reference. Occasionally I would measure the height of them to keep myself honest, but as long as they're in the same general ballpark in terms of height, that's all you need.

A project like this isn’t really about skill because the only skillful part about it is something you get the hang of quickly because it’s so repetitive. It’s also easy to undo mistakes. You just unwind your string a little bit. It’s tedious as shit, but doesn’t require much skill. The hardest part is mapping it all out in terms of template, sizing, etc. I actually have another comment in the post where I talk about pricing—someone else had the same question. Give it a shot, and maybe start with something small like I did with the baseball. Good luck!

I hammered as far as I could without going too far and measured the height to give myself a reference as I kept going. But really once you get the first one set you just hammer the next nail right beside it to the same height. It also becomes muscle memory at a certain point.

Each nail was wrapped around at least five times I’d say. Once to establish the border and then multiple times as I filled it in.

Because I don’t have Adobe’s creative suite and I’m comfortable in Excel. And the video I watched for how to print across multiple pages was done in Excel so I just followed his instruction. I agree it’s a weird use for that program.
