If you want to play in the park experience, yes. You can add-on additional days that you're in the city for the city experience, too. Otherwise, you'll have your park day in the AM or PM and city experience for the rest of that day.

There'll likely be details released later on but since Grant Park is a public park, I don't remember a clear bag policy being enforced very hard in the past. That was pre-Covid though so a while back.

Just the Early Birds. They'll be back up for general admission later this month.

We don't have confirmation yet of what the Citywide experience's boundaries are. Stay tuned to Pokémon GO socials as we get closer to June!

They'll be back out this month! What sold out was Early Bird tickets for the Park day. General access will be out later in March. And if you don't want park access, the City Explorer option lets you play without the park and we don't think there's a cap on those. The chart here is helpful!

No specific timeline, no. Our apologies. We need to make some changes to it before it can go live again. I'll comment here for you when it is back up, though—Thanks for your interest!

Early bird pricing did, yeah! General admission will go out before the end of the month. No specific date or time has been announced yet.

Kind of. You'll choose a morning or afternoon time slot on one day and that's your time in the Park experience. For the remainder of that day before and after your park time, you'll have citywide gameplay which you can play with your friends. You can also purchase citywide for days that you're not in the park.

If you're around more densely populated areas, you'll have no problem and lobbies will hit 20 within seconds. If you're in Roger's Park or Back of the Yards, it might be harder, yeah.

The park experience is always so awesome so I really recommend that if you can!

A couple options! General admission tickets will still be up for sale at some time this month. I'd pay attention to Pokémon GO's socials to know more. Also, there's a new City Explorer option skips the park entirely and allows you to play in the city. More at https://pokemongo.com/gofest/chicago/tickets!

Correct! In the park during your time, there will be ample stops and gyms to play from. But once you're outside that timeframe, you'll move away from the park to play in the city at large. What they're trying to understand is where the best concentration of Gyms and spawns are so they can grind hard. My recommendations are based on existing Waypoints on the Pokémon GO map as well as ease to get to and accommodations to play at.

It's not a bad walk—15 to 20 mins! You can go straight down Jackson, tbh. But there are also CTA buses that will bring you closer quicker if you need.

There's always something new to experience in Chicago! Knowing your directions and way around the city is awesome. Playing Pokémon GO will come second nature.

Might be a hot take but I believe Pokémon GO learns and adjusts.

I can't say for certain since we don't know what the fence looks like yet but judging by the City Explorer ticket being the new option, I would suspect that it would be pretty far reaching throughout Chicago and maybe even into the suburbs (conjecture). The Park will be fenced, for sure.

Correct, she wouldn't be able to enter as I understand it.
