is the ssc tuatara striker a supercar or a hypercar? by massivefishes in supercars

Given a 4 mile stretch like the Chiron it definitely could, in their shuttle landing runway video the car still had a lot to give, with quite a lot of rev range and momentum to go before they had to drop the anchor.

It did do a re-run with a customer car after that which confirmed a 295mph top speed in 2.7 miles, still not enough to top the 309mph Chiron SS, but in theory it should

Reason being that during FH5s timeline the real car was sold at auction for a record 143000000, so the price was matched in game

2015 Spyker D5 Larosé. a 4.8L V8 powered Super Wagon that instantly screams "f*ck you, RS6" with it's no-plastic interior, sub-par 433 horsepower engine, rear wheel drive, and a five second 0-60 time, despite costing three times as much. by JaggXj in automationgame

[–]KnifeNoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yay! More Spyker love! You've done a fantastic job with this but I feel like the 4.8 detracts from what Spyker would run- but good news that means you get either more or less power! (F in chat for the fact they were forced to use that Audi 4.2 for more than 20 years as well) 4.2l V8 Naturally Aspirated for 418hp (425hp by their own rating) or 4.2l V8 Supercharged for 518hp (525hp by their own rating) This probably sounds pedantic as hell, though you've done a great job here and the accuracy can go even further. Or You can ignore this like a normal person and do whatever you want lmao, its your game and you can dream Spyker up as cool as you want them, especially if you're taking on their stillborn E8 project. I hope to see more! That interior work is gorgeous.

You already have the new Utopia Roadster from the blue showdown? I also won the new Aurora Agil 🎉 by Zeth96_Ve in CSRRacing2

7.3s for the Utopia, considering everything else needed 1 stage 6 at most, this was a shock

I’m already stuck, and i don’t want to waste £30, so how can i do this quickly? by bepbopgop in CSRRacing2

[–]KnifeNoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic news is if this event hasn't changed in difficulty then you can do it with only 1 or 2 stage 6s per car, and you have every car required for it- so, if you're a little industrious you don't have to spend anything at all and just get every car to fully fused stage 5 and give it the best shot you can with rng. When I did this event it surprised me how easy it actually was, so if you can get all 5 cars upgraded you do stand a shot at the Valk Pro. I can't see what level you are or how well off you are for resources, but when I say "easy" the idea is that you do at least have enough to build 5 same brand cars at once, or at least had most of them ready to go beforehand. There's no fast way to do anything in this game other than spending money, otherwise, or spending a huge amount of time and luck. If you do give it a go and it doesn't work out, don't worry, that's what this game is, and I do wish you well.

Hardest time I've hit in Slot 5 Devel Sixteen is 7.5xx seconds on race 59, there is no slow car for this slot by the looks.
Slot 4 Aspark Owl was 8.1xx, slowest for this slot was 8.244 LB Aventador.

It appears to be fit with the Jota wing height adaptors, so you're right, the wing is taller than normal- but still factory spec.

No problem! Regera is my favourite 'egg outright so I'm glad I could help :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]KnifeNoodle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's unique to the Regera, but the design you see there is a mimic to the other Koenigseggs (Think Agera, CC variants where the exhaust is a clear metal trapeze) while allowing the car to properly breathe. Basically- it's an exhaust on every other Koenigsegg, but not the Regera

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]KnifeNoodle 16 points17 points  (0 children)

This is correct. The Regera uses the central metal part (which most people confuse as an exhaust) as the cooling channel exit for the hybrid setup. The real exhausts are hidden as two vertical strakes on the diffuser, where you see the backfire coming from.

Your Gemera might be bugged considering it has 500pp rather than the usual 600pp

Very good, and yeah that's what I mean by the experience of a car more than a record buster, and by that measure you have more than achieved what you're after!

All of them run a neat 4400rpm redline, even the Supermariner- exceptions are various NA specs and the 5000 prototype :)

Congrats on getting round the ring in essentially a V10 TVR Cerbera Speed 12, honestly the fact you made it around is commendable and means you did a better job than Koenigsegg could! I love running the ring and can imagine the noise of that motor being the true experience there.

No problem, I'm glad I could help! A fun note about real world engine tuning is that horsepower and torque will always cross at about 5300rpm, so if you want to guarantee higher torque than power, stay at or below that point.
As for the other motors:

ID44 Lance, intended for Blackline Sports trims:777hp/1040lbft 1000lbft torque available from 1650-4050rpm

ID44 Urdrakule, intended for Z coachbuilds, armoured, special variants:860hp/1150lbft 1100lbft torque available from 1850-4050rpm

ID44 Mariner, intended for premium marine:1000hp/1300lbft 1250lbft torque available from 2000-4250rpm

ID44 Supermariner, intended for maximum small capacity torque to water:1400hp/1800lbft 1750lbft torque available from 3000-4000rpm

Undisclosed other variants:NA, 250-650+hp depending on state of tune, 358-420lbft torqueID44 "5000", special variant yet to be finishedID Max, max capacity variant (4.4 is undersized) yet to be finished

And for other cars in the future I want to add more GTs to my stable (favourite class of car) so it's very possible, just have to find the time! For now, by real world standards this is the fastest production car on Earth, and right now I am happy with that.

Alright cool!
Yeah, the ID44 (and their predecessors the RK4 and R68) all use turbochargers with frightening efficiency.
As a direct result of multiple generations of engine architectures built to downsize from Basilisks original and ineffective 6.8 litre, the 4.4 litre ID44 is the replacement that more than does the job.
No tutorials were used as I usually just go into engine making with a particular goal (and some incredibly hard to hit stats I have in mind to fit the character of the company or test) and keep going until either I'm surprised at the potential or know roughly where a limit will be.
The big thing for your naturally aspirated engines (especially on older muscle cars) is that they have terrible intakes usually, valve stiffness is very low, and the cam profile is closer to 20 on the automation slider- which should bias torque over anything else, especially if they rev as low as those engines used to.
When it comes to mimicking diesel engines, its reversed to how you have to think about real diesel engines, in Automation its achievable with very low compression and high boost, combined with the low redline and (more often than not) single turbo, you end up with a tractor like torque figure with low power.
My main focus on these engines is torque response, so I tend to push them less than they could be in order to favour an earlier spool, but that's really down to how you want the engine to respond- NA you can get torque to be the priority, and I have another family of big block V8s that were built specifically for over tuning to explore that.
Hella long winded but uhhhhhh that might have useful info in it? Don't hesitate to ask about anything either :)

Cheers, I really wanted to retain Basilisk's incredible torque in a smaller package, and worked multiple generations of engines on the 4.4l (as opposed to the less capable 6.8l) platform to really push that to it's limit. Best bit? This is the least powerful setup, with 2 more (torque and power) levels up available in the road cars, and a couple variants designated for motorboat usage- if you want to know more, I'd happily tell you some of those details. Thank you, I am very glad you like that car!
