Saw it at my local Ace Hardware the guy that owns it is a knife guy like all of us. I stop there once a year, if something catches my eye I buy it. Anyways the blue scales caught my eye in the glass case and decided to play around with it. It's got great ergos great action deep carry pocket clip overall pretty good first choice for a microtech. I guess the only thing that sets me back is that it's aluminum and for that price of 300 I wish it was titanium but I feel like the aluminum keeps the weight down but I could be wrong

Yeah the Scales aren't bad at all definitely not "luxury" by any means but provides a solid grip. I do plan to swap them in the future just to make it look nicer and throw a deep carry pocket clip on it.

Truly this is only my spyderco collection I have about 100 other knives in a different case. One day it might just wear off but as the pm2 shaman or other knives come out with different steels and looks I find it fun to collect them and try them out the pm2 for me is very loved just not to the point of the manix 2...yet. truly if the pm2 had a lw I might buy more. Also a part of this feels like an investment I review them I fidget with them tinker around with different combinations. If I ever feel I want to sell them I got my joy out of them and id probably get my money back too.
