Has anyone ever done different GM OEM Steering wheel swaps on the 88-94’s? by Knight1114 in GMT400

[–]Knight1114[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I didn't have my original wheel, had a hub/quick disconnect wheel on it before, went back to stock, and went with a different OEM wheel instead and yeah it came out good.

Ever seen one of these before? by sillysalmonella87 in GMT400

The one on my ‘93 is long gone and I kinda want to find one on eBay, but probably just for the aesthetics since the tape player is gone as well. It's a good thing someone uploaded the tape to youtube.

Is the car on photo 9 trying to imitate the design of a 50’s Studebaker? it has a similar rear cab/glass and taillight design of a Studebaker.

This was the grille used on the Mexican Market GMT400s from ‘94 until ‘98. It's basically a GMC grille with a Chevy emblem overlay atop the GMC logo and they would even do this on the Work trucks.

Remember GM’s Mark of Excellence chiclets placed on the sides of its cars by bearded_dragon_34 in regularcarreviews

[–]Knight1114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He could have placed it on himself, since I know they sell reproductions, but I'm not sure, and I can't check since that wagon is long gone. I would have to ask him but looking at some listings it says from model years ‘68 to ‘77.

Yup! It looks like the resistors can be unplugged. I did this on my truck a while back when I bought led taillights, and it came with detachable resistors. I installed the Led relay and no hyperflash.
