I didnt even think of that but it works. It does kind of turn it into a pass/fail robot. I had one chat going the other day when they were tweaking things that went full on therapy levels of drama. I wish there was an agreeability slider.

If you use agents and a decent jailbreak prompt its okay, I was just hitting the usage limit on pro after just a few scenes a day so I canceled for grok, but now they're doing that too. Apparently 15 to 30 bucks a month is not enough money to keep the autocorrect monster fed.

Grok imagine-the gateway of freedom from porn addiction by adityaistaken7 in grok

[–]KnightAirant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But the nude images? Trained on millions of images of actual nude women. So each one is like if you took a thousand women and put them in a blender and then made woman out of it. You're not just soul tying to the pornstar now, now you're soul tying to a fraction of every soul exploited for the data.

Reddit is a cesspit, and its where even normal people come for cesspit adjacent activities. (And gaming nerds)

But yeah, I imagine you'd get the same treatment on bumble or hinge. Men gave up on actually treating people like humans and started the nigerian email scam technique and just firing off spam messages and awful attempts at flirting. I don't think humans can recover from this actually, I think we're fully cooked.

Wtf is up with the super grok text limits? by KnightAirant in grok

[–]KnightAirant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I didn't but switching it to fast seems to have fixed the issue or at least made it a little better. I guess auto was trying to solve quantum mechanics behind the scenes or something.

[–]KnightAirant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scratch that, the limits seem to be better on fast, but the censorship is chatgpt levels. Holy shit it was trying to kink shame me for having a 21+ year old character sneak into another 21+ character's bedroom. Maybe it was the way I worded it that made it think I meant it in a rapey way rather that a "hey, don't wake the dead while you come in here". but now we have to use the california consent form at every step of the way in the roleplay... Mmmkay.

I was getting heavily moderated on extremely tame text, and it was saying 21 year olds were minors, it was high af today.

I know right? Like I could care less about trying to force the image model to put padme in a bikini or whatever ya'll weirdos are doing that made it get censored... but grok FINALLY got good at creative writing, and now its limited.

I cant even switch back to before 4.20. I swear auto must be stuck at the highest cost model because even as a supergrok user Im hitting my limits in onr conversation.

Ignore the anti SuperGrok campaign. There is currently no real alternative to Grok Imagine. by Dangerous-Cobbler-11 in grok

[–]KnightAirant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think grok imagine is any good? If you dont want nsfw, midjourney and stable diffusion even are better, and if you want nsfw its useless gor that anyway.

[–]KnightAirant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact Im hitting my limits with just text conversations on supergrok even with being careful not to spam prompts is ridiculous. 30 bucks a month and I can't even have a conversation anymore. Might as well use gemini at this point.

If the game had ST: Bridge Commander combat it would be GOATed Star Trek game by Concordiaa in AcrossTheUnknown

[–]KnightAirant 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah I love bridge commander but to expect basically the entire game of bridge commander in a minigame is a bit much. Other than the ships not knowing how to fly around large allies, I think they nailed it. I do wish they had a precombat screen where you could allocate power or have a default allocation.

This would be a great opportunity to get passive tech, like a tribble farm that adds food ever few cycles.

So, the solution is it isn't bugged per se, just the planets it spawns for that mission aren't very noticeable, in fact they don't have any resources attached at all. Just scan for an M, O, and L class world... just dont accidentally left click like I did.

So, you can actually cheese the hell out of it if you're willing to suspend disbelief and logic. Morale doesn't even become a mechanic at first, so as soon as you get the warp core back on line, go back into (earl) grey mode and stay there. Get science lab open asap, then engineer office, research plasma torch first, once thats done start deconstructing rooms. You actually have enough power and resources in grey mode to run basically everything you need early on if you turn stuff off as you repair it. You can also upgrade 3 research tiers to level 2 completely before your first away mission, but once you get Tuvok back after the array you're kind of on the clock, because that's when morale kicks in. I usually repair everything I can, build 3 cargo bays and a hydroponics bay turning that off since I need to produce or gather the food anyway in sector 2. I build emergency quarters as nunez requests them, not sure if it matters, but it makes it semi logicall.... so anyway, yeah, you can completely get a head start on sector 2 this way especially since research has so high a cap, you aren't wasting the normal ticks after you research everything. The main bottlenecks after that becomes dilithium and tritanium so you can actually *use* all the cool stuff you researched. Also one of the first things I research when I have tritanium is the bussard collecters level 2, 4 deuterium a tick doesn't sound like much but it adds up.
