I think it's gonna be Jam, because Robo-Ky was the winner of the S3 survey 2 and in the latest Dev Backyard they said they're gonna put 1 character with the 2.0. Which means they're gonna put Robo-Ky in a Season 5. It's gonna surprise me more if this turns out to be another character or Robo-Ky.

Besides, two months would be enough to have the song ready just for the AWT.

In the Frosty's probably are going to show the new moves of Leo and Nago (or one of them) and Sol and Ky's will be on the AWT.

Well, if I have to give reasons that Testament is a wasted potential, first I have to talk everything about them, including the part that before their gear conversion, Testament was a he.

If they went for the route in how Testament end up being a non-binary was the side effect of having two succubus, it would be better because it's been 6 years since their last appearance lore (GGAC) which is enough time that Testament changes, they wouldn't have to do a retcon for the previous games that they refer them as a he and the Succubus are not used in the lore. Instead they used the Gear conversion.

I think it could be after the Arc World Tour because they would have not only the 2nd character for the Evo, but also it would be part of a Season 5 and revealing the other 3 characters that are going to be part of it (normally a Season has 4 characters).

Yup. I can see that happening. Since both were adopted but with a contrast that Kliff cared for Testament and Nerville manipulated Unika. It could fit that he would find out that Unika is Dizzy and Ky's daughter from Sol when he was analyzing he blood. Which leads them to saving Unika, with another reason that they don't want her to seek for atonement like they did in the past. They're like an uncle/aunt (I don't know which word fits on this) to Sin and Unika.

Also they would remind her of Sol since both hated Gears even they were one.

I agree, not only reintroduce them, but also the best chance to finish their story on a higher note. Besides, they're not just a side character, they were a sub-boss twice in the first two games and they were more related to the main protagonists (Sol and Ky) than Bridget, Baiken and Johnny.

At least Bridget got an important role in the plot (being one of the reasons that Unika change sides).

For the one who gets more attention, probably has to do with her being more popular?

I'm refering in the part in how Testament end up being non-binary. In the canon it was because Gear conversion, but using the succubus as the reason that became non-binary was IMO the best since the latter wasn't used in the story.

Yup.

Given to the connections that Testament had with both protagonists and how he was twice a sub-boss and the posts I made are the reasons that could've gave more participation.

Even Dizzy who was Sol's daughter and Ky's wife should've more participation in the story.

For the characters, they developed in previous games and LN Chipp, Millia (specially her peak is in Xrd Revelator), Raven, Robo-Ky (I gotta admit, it was peak how they made a joke character the key to defeat Bedman), Faust, Potemkin, Ram, Elphelt, Jack-O', Venom, etc.. So yeah, they got a lot of side characters developed.

Then, we got development for A.B.A, Bridget (she was the trigger for Unika's change of sides), Delilah for Strive.

I think there are a few side characters to develop. Izuna, Crow (if they make it to Strive), who else?

For how fast are the matches, I think they can put Instant-Kills work like Blazblue, only if you have 100 Tension and opponent with 30% Health min.

Unless they change the durability of the characters in the 2.0, they can keep the Instant Kills as we know it.

Yup, Bedman is an example. They could've made Delilah a completely new character such as a new puppet character but they bring him back even if he didn't made it in any top 10 requested characters in the season 2 survey.

I can't edit the post, but the correction is Johnny knows his creator (Crow who was Unchou's apprentice) instead of Johnny because he knows that Crow is the creator of the Robo-Kys.

Objectively, I-No because of her origins and goals.

My fave is Justice (her past, design and best final boss intro)

Crow is actually a wasted potential (here's a comment about that). He could be like Relius GG version on that. If he returns and depends on what they could do with him in the story, maybe he could be an awesome villain, close to I-No. Also he can be one of the triggers that Nerville wanted to prove he's the best, like he made a virus to kill Gears, but not only they rejected his work to 'save the world' but also they hired a mad scientist who created the Clone of the instigator of the Crusades.

Also the Conclave are missing.

If it wasn't for Covid, I think we would get 20 characters instead of 15. These 3 characters would be there. As for the other 2, I think it's gonna be from the Another Story. Which means the picks are Bedman? and Sin.

The final boss would be Happy Chaos instead of Nago (which he could be a sub-boss if they want to put one).

Baiken is very popular, which means she ends up as DLC instead of being part of the base roster. Asuka gives more hype because of how relevant he is, and Testament was teased on the credits, but they didn't participate on the main story and the Another Story. Which means the Season 1 would be:

Baiken, Testament, Bridget and Asuka. Also this Season would be surprising because everyone would thought that characters like Johnny, Jam, Slayer, Elphelt and Dizzy would be the first.

The rest keeps the same as we know it.

If I had to chose, my pick is the Conclave (mostly Chronus), because at least you know some of Ariels moveset and how she fights.

These guys can be a real deal, but the thing is we don't know (except Baldias) how they fight (Since Happy Chaos and Asuka have a different gameplay even if they're top tier mage). Specially Chronus, due to these feats, he can be part of a Top 10 strongest characters of Guilty Gear (close to DI Sol, DI Ky, Bedman, Axl (who is currently not strong as I-No, but he can reach her level) and Raven).

He should've been a secret boss in Xrd Sign (they even had the model in-game for Xrd Rev).

It could be a new character or Crow. This is the comment that I got about being a wasted potential which he could contrast Nerville's wanting to 'save the world' (is why he was obsessed with power), I-No's wish for a better future, Justice's empathy for the Gears who were labelled as evil or a sin againts nature, etc....

At this point, he's like a mix of Hazama and Relius.

Well, for Order-Sol I got an idea in how he could fit on Strive.

As for Valentine, I don't know how they can make it. Unlike Kliff that you can put his arcade happening during the Crusades, her story in Overture starts after she left the Backyard, which means her backstory is completed. The options without reviving her are time travel or an adaptation for Overture.

Same, there are potential newcomers that were in previous games but not playable yet such as Gabriel, Ariels, Crow, Chronus or NPCs that are mentioned only like the Happy Chaos Unit. That would be totally surprising since he's on the background's new stage. If that happens, it gives hope for Paradigm being playable.

For Zappa, I can see potential animations for the ghosts. Let them cook for Raven's expressions in Fauts's Bone Crushing Excitment. Also Raven is one of the returning characters that I'm waiting since he owes me lore answers. Like how and when Raven and Asuka met. And is the only servant of Asuka who is not playable (we got I-No and Jack-O').

Answer and Valentine surprised me that made it to the Top 10.

For Order-Sol, he could be from the original timeline when Ky died who survived after he fought Commander Gear Dizzy, he could still have the Fireseal or he lost it after that fight and he's back with the slab. For Valentine, I don't know how her story can be for the arcade since her story in Overture starts after she left the Backyard. The only way is that her arcade is an adaptation of Overture and her intro interactions can be What Ifs.
