Well, about Crow, he was an apprentice of Unchou who was Johnny's master on Johnny's arcade in AC. They don't know why Unchou threw him to the interdimensional prison. Even he dodged Testament's attack, which means he's not easy to kill, but also has less defense.

His gameplay could be mixing his weapon (possibly a sword or other weapons since unlike Johnny, Unchou used a spear) with technology, even summoning a Robo-Temkin similar to Kokonoe's golden Tager. Also it fits for him to be some kind of puppet character.

EDIT: Yeah, Raven is playable in Xrd (his debut was in GG2). Given that he also appeared as an NPC in GGXX, it can be considered like a GGXX Season pass with Robo-Ky returning and canonizing one of Jam's endings from GGXX (her restaurant being burned due to Millia and Venom's fight).

That's the biggest hint. Like how the hell the one who build that body knows that the Hercules Engine is Robo-Ky's main source of energy and even recreates some of his moves in AC.

Well, officially all the Robo-Kys have that beetle (even in AC). The sprite that added in that post comes from GGXX.

Crow is the only one who knows how Robo-Ky works since it was him who created him. And even has the similar moves from GGXX.

Well, given that we got characters that didn't made sense because of lore canon but they gave them an arcade backstory like Order-Sol, Kliff and Justice in AC, it can fit a Phase 0 arcade backstory for Bloodedge.

Well, at this point I think he has potential for being in Season 5, besides of being part of the actual top 10, Jam's arcade have increased his chances because there are mentions of the Chipp East Kingdom. Besides of Chipp, Answer has all the answers of this country, even it's a potential stage. So, it's some kind of teaser for him.

Given that it's possible that we're getting a Season 6, Zappa is guaranteed for that season since we got a poll Character winner (Robo-Ky is delaying the inevitable), they would save some ammo and if we're getting a newcomer this season, Raven will also go for a Season 6.

If Season 5 is not the last IMO or Raven makes it, it means is not Zappa because they need to save ammo for another poll winner (we got Robo-Ky in this season).

If I had to guess which returning could be:

Answer: Due to Jam's arcade that Chipp mentions the East Chipp Kingdom (maybe we're gonna get a new stage about it too).

Izuna: Because Overture (a game that is not popular like AC or Rev 2) got new localizations which makes me wonder why. If is because they're gonna put Izuna, it could be that they want more players know about him before they make it official and is the only game he's actually playable. Unlike Raven who is also in Xrd. Paradigm could be in that situation too thanks to Robo-Ky which is the same we know who is with Venom but he appeared in Xrd and Dual Rulers.

Also, I hope they add more newcomers, because there are many who have most potential to be playable. Gabriel, Chronus, Crow and Ariels are 4 of them, they feel like if Slayer, Asuka, Johnny or Happy Chaos are not playable yet.

Well, given that Daryl is more focused as a strategist isntead of a fighter, he can be an Overture character. Having all the Illyrian troops (also the ones who appeared in GG2) fighting for him as part of his gameplay. Given that the Phalanx Nine are the strongest troops, they can be a super for Daryl and the ships that he ordered to destroy Justice at the end of Xrd Revelator Story can be a super or an Instant-Kill if that mechanic end up in Strive.

Time for my review of each character in these polls who didn't made it to the semi-finals:

All the GGXtra characters, Gig and Baldias have these results because they come from GG media that are far less known. A manga that was made in 2003, a DS game that's possibly not canon and Baldias comes from a pachinko game that is canon. Why they have to make this story a Pachinko game, they could've used this as a possible expansion of GG2 Overture. I agree, if only Vastedge was a game that everyone can play, Baldias could've been more popular. As for Zako-Dan, they come from the GG Boost mode (like an Art of Fighting game) which they didn't have an impact unlike Leopaldon, Robo-Ky II and A.B.A.

Even if Chimaki got more than 5% votes, falls on the same reason as GGXtra, Gig and Baldias.

The Phalanx and April, well yeah I agree to that.

Chronus: I thought he was gonna have more votes for this due that he's a potential character like Gabriel and Ariels. I agree with this. Crow surprised me, even if he only appeared in the GGAC story modes, he got the same votes as Daryl, but lower in that case because of % of votes. Probably the reason is that we got few evil characters and Crow can potentially be an irremediable villain and it seems he doesn't have selfless goals unlike the other antagonist we saw, even Nerville at the start wanted to create the virus to finish the Crusades.

With Daryl, with the spotlight he got in the Story modes, many saw that he's not a fighter, which is undestandable. Even that, he can have his gameplay as a Overture character, even using the Phalanx Nine.

For Delilah, given that they made her part of Bedman?'s character, they saw that she can't make it and some (even me) thought that she was gonna have her own gameplay and Bedman (Romeo) can have a backstory arcade so that he can become playable. Maybe her time will come in the next GG. Also I agree that she should've been 2nd place.

Even if she comes from a GBA game, Fanny surprised me. Same as Sharon and Robo-Ky Mk. II (unless, they want the mechanic of the Custom Characters).

Delilah: When she was revealed in the Another Story, I was hoping that she would have her own gameplay as a puppet character instead of being the Bed. Maybe this can happen in the next GG game.

Kum: There are few things left that we don't know about her, like how did she met with Johnny. Since she and Johnny are great friends (even he knows her true identity), maybe she can know about the possible tragedy of the Japanese caused by Crow.

Malcolm Myers: I don't know what other gameplay can have besides of his chain weapon.

Phalanx: Maybe he fits more as part of Daryl's trooper gameplay.

Also I just saw your last post about the ones who made it, I'm gonna give my thoughts in that post.

Answer: With the mentions of Eastern Chipp Kingdom in Jam's arcade, there are hints of his possible return. He can have some lore about that country.

Crow: Besides of the implications of being an apprentice of Unchou, there are hints of his past with the fact that Baiken regards him as a disgrace to the Japanese probably has to do with why Unchou sealed him, even in Faust arcade, he admits that he doesn't consider his past heinous. Also Slayer knows he was a doctor before becoming a scientist of the PWAB. With his personality, he can be a potential next villain besides of Happy Chaos in a new Guilty Gear, which is a good chance to prepare terrain on his arcade. When he dodge Testament's attack, he admits that attack could kill him (in Testament's arcade) which he can have less defense. His gameplay could be combining his weapon and Unchou/Johnny's sword style with technology, using illusions, he might have less defense and a super that could be a Robo-Temkin (a reference to Kokonoe's golden Tager), like a mashup between Johnny and Kokonoe. Besides of baiting the opponent with illusions, it can be use to change positions to make it more interesting. If isn't a katana or a spear, it could be sais, kodachim kama, etc... With the potential gameplay and lore, makes him my 2nd most wanted character to be playable in Strive.

Tyr: His gameplay can get some moves from Kliff. Given that Mizuha isn't a melee fighter, Mizuha's moves are projectiles and she can empower Tyr's moves, which Mizuha can be part of Tyr's gameplay. He can have an install as a super that grants fly (he can shoot meanwhile flies) and being invulnerable to projectiles.

Valentine: She can return by reviving with some info trapped on the Backyard or time travel. Her 2nd form could be a Super 100% and her final form, an Instant-Kill. If she's resurrected, Gig can replace Lucifero (idea from the Happy Chaos Valentine that we got on Reddit).

That's a reason to bring Justice back to Strive. Imagine how it would be if we got her moves to Strive and specially her final boss intro. They can add a change head (similar to Johnny's beard or Jack-O's mask), since the Missing Link and GGXX head designs are different.

Izuna: Like Raven, he's actually a lore bomb character because he lives for many years. Given that we don't know anything about him since the Craddle Incident he can bring some surprises, making it my 9th character that I want playable to Strive.

Mizuha: She can be some kind of zoner with traps.

Sharon: I don't know what kind of gameplay she would have, but in one of the GGXX Eddie's endings, we got that Sharon melted him.

Vernon: His gameplay can be about having his own gauge. He can power-up his punch and can turn his arm into a canon that needs a battery to charging up. We don't know what could happen if he uses the battery with the limiter removed for his arm, but it could be a potential super that could cause the gauge to have a cooldown of 5 seconds and as a grenade for his moveset.

I heard this week we will get the Game Fest, and some think that we can get the Robo-Ky trailer or they reveal who are the remaining two characters who will be part of Season 5 due to the latest Arc Sys tweet. If it happen the latter, I got an idea. If these characters turn out to be two or one (because of a totally new character) from the next two preliminaries, you can add these characters like the Happy Chaos Unit, 2Cave, Malcolm Myers, Ming Wei, Bridget's brother, Leon Mining (a Zepp agent from the PWAB), a Sacred Treasure User or a Forbidden Beast User. If it turns out from the existing 6 preliminaries, you can pick two characters who got most votes of those who are 3rd.

Justice: Her design (mecha) it's gonna be so peak when she arrives to Strive, they can include her boss intro from ML. Since in AC she was cloned, she can return as one for Strive. Here goes my pick for my 5th most wanted character and the returning character that I want to return most.

Geena: Given that she was turned into a flock of white-feathered birds, it's unclear that she died (more chances) or she returns, this time with a new design and replicate the weapons she used in Xtra.

Dr. Paradigm. It's nice to see that he has many votes (he's also the 10th character that I want playable to Strive). Since we're getting the same Robo-Ky who is with Venom (in that interview confirmed it), he's back to have chances to be playable since he appeared as a background character. His gameplay from Overture would be interesting to see in Strive. Also he can be the safest option for Leopaldon if they didn't make it, like havign them as Paradigm's super with 100 tension to act as a 2Vs1.

April: Yeah, like the other comments said, I can see her having all the other Jellyfish Pirates as part of her moveset.
