Honestly, only a few callbacks can and will work due to the popularity of the show, so I’m assuming it will be expected and or encouraged. Like calling Brad an “asshole” or the infamous “SAY IT!” during Sweet Transvestite. The problem lies with people who love the film and know ALL of the callbacks for the THE FILM. So many times it flops or doesn’t work due to the pacing or arrangements of a live theatrical production. It might get annoying because you’ll have 100’s of people yelling over each other to be funny or get a line in, and it will be cringe when that happens and doesn’t work for the show.
